-apple never made a phone before
two years ago they made a phone that was all stolen patents from different people and companies
they had the ipod as back up for popularity
they've been winning some awards for only their iphone and nothing else
don't you find that strange....?

i've been waiting this phone tooooooo long (from last year i)....
to come out this year just like an iphone wanna be
Cpu speed just 500mhz,with 128 RAM?..2009 come'on nokia can do better
years ago if NOKIA announce a new phone everyone is crazy about it....hmm.....
(remember E90)
and now ill just enjoy my blackberry bold

IF anyone watched uk gadget show tonite on in car stereo then thats how a touchscreen should operate..You cant get much design with a touchscreen fone cause its all display with one or two buttons so the design should be in the icons and fun colour display..People complain about colour pallette ie 262k or 16 million etc but the colours are never put to good use ever..I dont think i truly believe fone companys could learn a thing or to about graphical u.i. fron these hi-tec stereo displays and touchscreen satnavs..

The 3.5G on the the iPhone is EXACTLY the same as on the N97, maybe you should sue GSM arena because they published it in the specs sheets if you ever bothered to read them.
The US army USES iPhones and iPod touch's on the battlefield, glass screens and all.
Who films 30 minute or longer videos on a phone, they get boring after five minutes and who's gonna sit through longer than that watching it?
HD tv's are here now, if you want one cheap go buy a 1080 computer monitor and a HD set top box you can probably do it under $200.

nokia is better only in midrange phones. they suck making a smartphone, turned out to be just a hi-end n-series phone.

... moreDo you even know how long you would be able to record in HD for 30mins... Cause the battery is too weak for the phone lol it only has 2 specs for the battery
no one knows how long you would be able to even use it for
HD hasn't even been perfected yet and it's just been around for 2 1/2 years so far maybe 3 DvDs have been around for years so they obviously had time to work on it
even the Laptops with HD and BlueRy players can only last for 2hrs and most laptops with a 6 or 8 cell last for 4 to 6 hrs
HD is not perfected yet and no were near it
it's still not the standard cause DvDs are still around and until BlueRays are cheap and HD tvs are 200 bucks i'm not even gonna try with HD phones

but now its not.. there are alot better technology.
the only advantage it has now is for the manufacturers because its inexpensive. but to users, its not "worth it" anymore, specially if you are paying for a very expensive phone. its frustrating if its only resistive.
"the superimposed tactile layers are not highly transparent, they generally absorb 20% to 25% of the screen’s brightness. Also, the accumulation of layers with different refraction indices can generate reflections and also reduces the display’s angle of vision. In addition to that, due to their flexibility, the layers are fairly fragile, they’re vulnerable to scratches and even cuts from sharp objects."

1-camera (8mp/5mp)
2-recording omnia hd is better : HD
3-screen (3.7"/3.5") the same res
4-3g (7.2/3.6)
5-battery life (13.5 h/9.5 h)
and more.......
the only advantege with n97 is "full QWERTY keyboard"
So, which device is better in you opinion???

What do u people have against resistive touch screens?resistive screens offer versatility and these days very sensitive too.sales of nokia 5800 prove that people accept it and not listen to critics.

the Imbedded virus in itunes the moniters everything on your computer
the 2year program that doesn't alow you to use your ipod or apple device after 2 years and they "highly"suggest to get a new apple product
they don't fix any of their devices they simply replace
and if you really want it fixed you have to find "apple technicans" in town
the developers apps store is corrupt and the system is broken
the devices don't even work properly and their all over priced

Get your hands in the N97 when it is released to market before you jump to conclusion.
