Why don't u guys rather opt for SE Xperia. Nokia's only jumping on the qwerty arc-slider keyboard smartphone bandwagon. If they had any balls they'd have installed winmo o n it and let it compete against the big boys. Now they wanna compete with HTC and SE in design (sorry I mesant copy designs again lol) but they're lacking the proper software. Come on guys stop with this nokia crap ''N97's gonna be the ultimate smartphone''. That's already been done, Nokia's just lagging behind as usual and now they wanna copy other manufacturers. IMO the only innovation Nokia produce is the cool dual slider on the N95, otherwise they'll wait and just cheaply copy an SE phone! Oh yeah, if u gonna argue buggy software on xperia, poor battery life, etc. why don't u guys head over to xda-developers and learn what the xperia can do.

N97 defines an all-rounder and a great investment. With only $500, its definitely worth it.

I meant to say that the Nokia N97 and HTC TOUCH PRO are the 2 candidates for my next phone. I am only gonna purchase 1 of them. I know its obvious but just wanted to correct myself. Thanks again.

Hi to all. Not sure if this is the right area to ask this but here it goes. I have a Nokia N85 and I love the phone for what it has to offer: call, camera, music but the phone does hang up on me from time to time, especially when I play music and what I wish it had was a qwerty keyboard (I kinda miss it). So I have been doing tons of research and concluded that my top 2 phones I plan on getting is the HTC TOUCH PRO and the NOKIA N97. The touch pro for me is pretty small phone in terms of length and width and I can wrap my hands on it while I dont mind the thickness of it. The nokia N97 looks cool but to me from the demos I see its more for like social networking such as facebook which I really dont do too much. So far its sounds that I have chosen the touch pro but I havent bought it yet due to the n97 not released yet so I cant completely rule it out until I get my hands on it. All I do with the phone is music, games, text, surf and the obvious calling. Another thing is I do care about performance. I do plan on keeping my n85 whatever phone I get. My question is what should I do? Should I buy the touch pro or be patient. Thanks in advance.

Mizuchi, 10 May 2009You go enjoy your 30mins of HD recording before the battery... moreAmoled is more efficient than TFT so the Samsung screen will use less power to provide a clearer, brighter picture.

The ARM 8 of the Samsung is more efficient so will use less power than the Arm 11 of the N97.

On the Samsung you can adjust the settings of the video camera down to VGA so you can show your grandparents video on their old CRT TV or film in HD for younger people who have steen plasma's and LCD's, even PC's and laptops are widescreen these days.

More and more your arguments sound like a sore loser who can't face the truth.
