Mizuchi, 11 May 2009Do you not understand what an example is since the DS doe... moreit doesn't matter if it has resistive or capacitive screens (as resistive is used in the europe market, and capacitive being used in the iphone over here in the us), the DS doesn't have any other purpose but only to play games, which is really good at. you should compare (example) instead the DS to the PSP, but whatever, it's your opinion/comparison and i'll respect it. i just know that windows mobile is out of my mind. sooo, symbian^3 better be good. and i'm also seeing the rumor of the so called psp phone, since sony is planning to acquire ericsson. since sony ericsson is already in a partnership with the symbian foundation, and already did a concept phone utilizing the TI OMAP 3430 (i.e idou), they should be able to bring out one of the best phones with gaming capabilities and phone usage :D. so if that happens, nokia is going to go down in its phone manufacturing business.

I get this phone and i eat it up..its so delisious. I get the white one to match my teeth. I joke.it the closest thing because they don't have yellow. I love nokia phone..it make me all ticklitch inside.

since the DS doens't have supper overclock CPU like the Omnia HD and has a low clockspeed like the N97 and 5800 and their both resesitve screens i thought about why everyone is complaining so much about the CPU clockspeeds
i'm still in the works of making some crazy games and nice apps for you all on the OviStore so just chill and you'll see my work :D

Mizuchi, 11 May 2009Ok guys i know you think the N97 is underpowered but if a ... morelol, you're actually comparing the DS to this phone?? u have to keep in mind that the DS has many games to it, unlike symbian and their crappy java ported games. there isn't a good game emulator for it, 3D games (no hw acceleration)... If the ovi store does include some nice games, it'll suck cus the n97 won't play them that well at all, with no 3D gpu/acceleration, it's hopeless to compare the DS to the n97

Ok guys i know you think the N97 is underpowered but
if a Nintendo DS uses dual Arm 9 CPU underclocked at not eve 90Mhz and the DSi just at 180Mhz
why would you need 6000Mhz CPU in the phone
DS can last almost a month on stand by believe me i have tried it mayny times
the DSs battery life goes for 12hrs at medium settings and 14hrs lowe settings and 8hrs on high settings
so the N97 and 5800 are fine for clock speed
cause i play alot of RPGs and i know i'll be setting there for a log time playing
even look at the PSP the battery dies in 6hrs even when your not doing anything XD cause it uses too much resources and the way nokia built the N97 and 5800 obviously don't uses alot of resources from the CP and battery so thus saving batter life :D go on WiKi and look it up for the DS specs
and another thing DS is a mini nintendo 64 right so it doens't need much to run
and that's what nokia saw from the DS and took that aspect

Some people get so upset but why??
They dont like it,,fair enuf then dont come to this forum there is no need to..
They cannot afford it..Fair point its the price of a laptop,,try saving or give up smoking etc or heckle or threaten to leave carrier if they dont give you a good price..
They think i-phone is better,,pff
CPU is underpowered,,good point i am waiting to see how it performs as well.
Windows is better,,well i think its more customisable and you can do what you want with even cook the rom but perhaps people like symbians user friendliness..
Me, i like fone to be fun,,do what it says out of box,good battery ,,clear music,,good video, cam good for a snap or two,,have lots of apps to play around with good screen,,and only nokia can compete with all this..They have the tv out and equalisers and gps and wifi but still some may say about hsdpa being only 3.6MB/s but that nokia,,they see no point going further if networks only support this much and who gets a full 3.6 MB/s anyway even on the 7.2MB/s networks..Nokia has been pushed into an 8MP when they see 2-5 MP enuf on the camfone..Yes they could use a nippier proccessor but i will see its performance when it comes out..Nokia are not perfect but neither is any other company,,not yet anyway,,all we are doing is picking the best of whats available now,,thats all....

i went to the nokia usa page and rhe 5800 is farely cheap not even 400CAD ordering cause of the coupon but the proplem is it can't be shipped here :( and as well i saw on amazon 5800s for 330USD used but i'm not sure
