Nokia has a mind of its own. It has the capabilty of producing top notch music fone like the n91(the best ever music i hv heard), then no phone it releases has the same quality.
N82 was a imaging beast(best on market) with its powerful xenon (also on 6220), then it simply skips xenon on n86.
Most of the high end fones have almost same features with minor differences. Then half of the workforce gets involved for firmware releases for each model leaving little manpower for technical advancements.They were the first to include dvd quality videos with30fps and they stick to it for so long.
Others have now overtaken that rate.Optical zoom present on n93i never saw daylight again.
600mhz on xpress music fone and 434 on n97.
Why nokia, why??

hopefully nokia will be released n83 n 5900 xm..the rumour is a touchsreen form..hopefully it will be built up with xenon flash n higher processor..

ok, a lot of people are complaining about the 'resistive' touchscreen, but what about the DS? That has one and only the first DS's had crap screens, by the time the newer colours started coming out the problem was fixed, and throughout that time noone gave a crap. Has noone made the connection of N97 & 5800 having the exact same screen? nokia are making sure the tooling is good so the N97 screens arent dodgy, cant have the flagship phone knobbled by its main feature can we?

Nokia is going backward. Very disappointed.
phones' quality getting worse. (cheap plastic everywhere on most recent phones, made in china..)
bad design (if not because of symbian os, I will never lay my eyes on any nokia phone, ugly is ugly)
low peformance cpu (flagship n96, n97 still use 3 yrs ago chip? give me a fking break)
remove sip client to please carrier (no more sip client on future n-series?)
I will wait for review on n97, if same sh*t like n96, bye nokia. no more.

The thing i like is the 3.5 inch LCD Screen and a 32GB Internal Storage and a 5 megapixel camera , The N97 is COOL EVER BECAUSE IT GOT A 32GB OF Storage.

I was everyday looking for N97 and its videos but now .......... im totally disappointed,it has a great design specially the white one,but im sure its speed will become a big problem while using media player and using the browser at the same time.... I was one of the biggest fans of this phone but now im thinking about LG GC900 Viewty Smart... I know LG phones are not as good as Nokia (i doubt now :-s) but this phone is great and im sure its price will be close to N97 price.... but its worthy... im not billionaire to get the expensive phones and after that throw and get another one,if we r supposed to pay almost 600$ at least we must get something useful and complete... but all my personal opinions :-s

capasitive is expensive... moreyes, there is nothing much for apple to improve on its iphone 3g, it is just the hardware spec improvement and thier stupid limitation,
there is no word about nokia partners with stantum for using Touchpark in nokia phone. and how can the plastic be durable? yes it is cheaper than glass and can be replaced easily

Let's be realistic the phone it's a beauty but the processor 400 mhz it's slow the 32 gigs are unusefull and sandisk will lunch the 32 gigs this year the camera old brand no.5:)) the touchscreen non-impresive(it's second touch phone from nokia) the hsdpa it's just 3.6 mbs omg it's slow overall the n97 will be like n96 a beauty from nokia very expansive but crap material and usual stuff like 5 mpx hsdpa etc etc and very slow
