and the so called new iphone is just getting a camera update and able to go on the 3.5network band thant's it and their is the 3.0 update that everyone is eventually gonna have no nothing new again form apple XD like always

if ... morenew iphone should has decent 5mp camera with aoutofocus optical zoom and xenon flash. loud speaker and front camera for ichatav, i am satisfied.

capasitive is expensive and it take more computing power and a new tweak to handle to touch plus you use your fingers to write on it
nokia is gonna be working with stantum to make a touchPark for their newer touchscreen phones and it will be cheaper and have more durable plastics
the reason nokia is doing this is cause they don't just look to sell to certain markets they sell to the world
and i know in asia they prefer the stylus over using their fingers to write

if nokia still stick to resistive, they will lose a large number of customers.
many people hate using stylus nowadays. and resistive uses plastics,
n97 is with a external stylus, i just hate bringing it with me whereever i go!
the best soluytion is making two version of n97. resistive one and capacitive one. i am sure capacitive n97 sells more than resistive N97!!!!!

however i hv been a long user resistive touchscreen technology, optical touchscreen and capacitive. i can easily say that resistive is by far the worst. even if they ever manage to get multitouch on resistive touchscreens, i wud not buy it. it doesnt register some touches and after a while of using it and pressing hard on it u get frustrated that nothing works smooth.
also all those layers used in resistive touchscreen or pressure sensitive touchscreen makes the colors more faded and sunlight legibility worse. a phone can hv gr8 features but without a gud screen it is pointless.
proof:
winmo phones usually hv gud features but the OS doesnt support more than 65k colors and only a resistive touchscreen can be used. - is it popular? no
iphone doesnt hv v gud features but it has a great screen. is it popular? yes
android phones also uses capacitive and have growing popularity.
i think ppl r fed up with using a stylus so it was a bad choice on nokias part to use resistive touchscreen.

i mentioned this a dozent times on this forum but people don't wanna listen to me but HD is not ready to be put on the mobile market yet DvD is sti;; the standand and until HD is the standard DvD quality is the highst for now
that's why nokia is smart with keeping the DvD quality videos and recording playback

it's menna be the iphone killer and will (unfortunately) probly be priced at about the same, lookin at £500-600. i want this but may be forced to settle with the 5800.

I've read an article today that N97 will be available in here in the Philippines by June 2009 but it was also mentioned that the information they've got was UNCERTAIN.
