Nokia is just using their old cpu to save money! The first N95 was made in 2006, 3 years later they use the same ARM 11 processor...come on, there's a big problem!
Everytime i open the media key in my black N82, it take 10 sec to open, not normal!

I'm not the only one saying that Nokia have nice features but has very slow interface!

Anonymous, 08 May 2009ARM 11 434 MHz processor! ahahahahhaahhahahahah SO Slow!... moreIt's a different version of symbian and they obviously know how fast it need to be for the touch screen and everything else if you noticed why the Omnia HD is fast cause is has more uselesss stuff running like the3D transitions the N97 only have Accelormeter based transitions and their apps on the symbian that are really small plus they modded the OS as well to work well with the CPU speed just like the 5800

Mizuchi, 08 May 2009Wow your a CPU noob cause if XP can run at 1Ghz the with 2g... moreI'm just saying that for $50 less than the N97 you can have the Samsung Omnia HD with a CPU 3 times faster(ARM Cortex-A8 600 MHz processor; 3D Graphics HW Accelerator) than the one inside N97! I have an N82 right now but i won't buy a N95 touch with qwerty keyboard(N97) with a slow CPU, NO F... WAY! Noob-newbie you are MF! Buy the N97 and regret after!

Well to all nokia fans ... Lets look at that phone and smile at how nokia is WAY AHEAD of competition, people wanted a change, innovation, and they got it for sure, as for nseries the numbers are closing up aswel as eseries, i think nokia will produce somethin like n40 and e20 or whatever but as for 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's we've seen some great phones like e65, e71 , e66, e52, n73 , n79 , n80 , n82 , n90 , n95 and upcoming n97, the number are closing up so i think nokia will be closing them up with a BANG!! Startin with n97... Its been a great run and brings a tear to ones eye but i really look forward to seeing what nokia will do next as replacement for there two great series range, to the Nseries , Eseries and to nokia.. We salute you

Can someone tell me why this phone is special?
Resistive touch screen? There is nothing new that Sammy, LG, HTC or even Toshiba had done already. And from the looks, it's all plasticky. I don't know why I should pay this much phone that arrived in the market 6 months too late.

you ever wonder why we never got the n96 till sept 08 when it was launched in jan 08 its the same with the n97 dont be suprised to see the n98 10mp 32gb mark my words

Mobilemaster, 07 May 2009I can't understand Nokia, why made such a failure CPU in th... moreIt's not really a fail for nokia if they know what s60 5th can handle and since the 5800 is only 369Mhz then it shouldn't be so different from the N97 the nautilus will maybe be atleast 700Mhz cause linux is more RAM base then CPU speed cause you can run linux of a CD and it will still be fast

hope n98 and n99 has the similar and improved same design as n97
but with decent processor and ram!!!
i can wait for them and even iphone with Fm radio and loudspeaker :)
