would be techno for the future but as most big memeroy phones had an entry level problem with to much features and continous software issues, will this phone take us to the future without any problems and hickups...

The phone is good in its performance!it has evrythng bt the bad thing is that the phone can be slided!N for my opinion All phones that are sliding are easy to break!so it needs great care and handling!and its realy xpnsive when it comes to repairing

This new Nokia N97 seems to have it all - except one thing - why is it only available in white & brown? - why not include black - white will show all the dirt & brown is not a nice colour for a cell phone?

The N97 looks awesome and I'm already considering to buy it BUT, my experience with the N95 and N96 is that the battery is just rubbish and the phone has a mind of its own when the memory gets full.
If the battery is better, which I'm doubting coz of the bigger touch screen, and it doesnt slow down, crash or just die, then its definitely going to be in my hands come this summer :)

a) it's got a graphics ca... moreNot sure about this but if you keep most stuff like music and photos on the memory card as opposed to the phone memory, i don't think the phone performance will be affected. I have a 4 gig card in my n95 almost full, no problems with it.
16 gig card is more then enough, even though there is 32 gig memory.

a) it's got a graphics card or onboard graphics,
b) compared to a phone it's got unlimited power.
So the Internet connection speed is not governed by the processor, obviously another component Nokia skimped on, yet they'll still charge a premium price.
Why don't they show a YouTube clip of an N97 under load?
Load the gallery up with a few thousand photo's, open it then let's see how fast it is when it's generating lots of thumbnails.
