Hello!
I heard from a friend hwo works at Gameloft and it had played with N97 that the slide is not sow great because after a week of playng with N97 the slide is moving a little when the phone is closed!
Sow let's hope that when the phone will be relised it will be much better!
But in my opinion i think that will be the same,sow is not sow cool :(

Look here....Nokia is Nokia not Apple or Banana. it makes phones for people who want choice...a lot of choice...Iphone looks slick but features are not...Nokia gives you features, good hardware and did i mention the tons of software allover the net?...sure Iphone sold a lot good for them at the end Nokia made more money(ha ha)...i'm not saying there are no phones with good cameras and Sh*t..but i and many other people like Nokia for quality that we saw.. you didn't see the quality its ok, but don't come bash what you don't know... if you do have a Nokia then hard luck you should have gone back and got another one, no hassles..
Damn..people just won't let Nokia rejoice...go use Imac..Ipod..Iphone..Itunes..Idiot and leave us rejoice at a creation we so much await..and yeah i'm gonna pay R15000 for it so what i got the money and i see no waste for a phone i like...ask Iphone people why they bought a no MMS, Video capturing phone then you'll understand why we like Nokia... now go to Istore and Ipay all your $$ for free things in S60.. and goodluck with Jail-breaking and stuff we Nokia are not restricted.. look what you made me do now.. wasted time on a Idiot guy.. Aple iphone most i sold in America, because there is many aple users, but not much at all in EU!
But sens nokia 5800xm started selling in America, the aple have fall and is collapsing even iTunes to minimum, so i hope aple users don't start seeking their many back for being cheated by aple company, it would be catastrophe for aple lol!
The Europeans will not want that crap iphone that cant do ordinary things one old nokia can do as a standalone phone!

Nokia became the best phone manafacturer because o... morenokia is all quantity not quality. they create phones with no big upgrade at all. all n-series phones are similar phones. camera mostly changes and of course the design, but nothing more. thats why nokia is the number 1 in sales, not because they have good phones but because they have many phones to sell. imagine every year they will have an average of 7-10 phones a year, about 15-20 phones for the last 2 years vs apple's 2 iphones for the last 2 years. if you analyze it technically, 1nokia vs 1apple sales is totally a knockout. there is no single nokia phone that sells 18million units, iphone did, and iphone 3G even beats 5-nokia phone sales combined.

battle have now shifted frp, hardware to software and services, things that matters most to "regular" people. Samsung have throw hardware specs in innov8 but it didnt sell, even N96 sold more than innov8.. thats because people dont care about specs anymore.. iPhone for example, the biggest smartphone seller of the year!!

Now if you take a look at the FCC photo's you'll see the American TI CPU it's one of the lower one's as shown by the N97's camera and video restrictions.
Now the thing is a phone with the power to handle HD video, like the Samsung and LG can use that power for other functions so will beat the N97 at everything.
Like I said fanbois will lap it up because they don't know any better.

The reason why they dont have 8MP or HD on this phone is that they will market this on the rich and can afford people, business oriented (iPhone, Blackberry) who doesn't spend 100% of their day on their phone, who have plasma tv's so they dont watch movie on their phone, has sophisticated camera and video camera so they dont need HD, 8MP on their phone, etc. iPhone dont have all the hardwares but it outsell any other smartphone in the market.
If this phone is a boring phone for you then your Omnia HD is boring rather because I can do anything on this phone that Omnia HD can. Text, call, watch video, snap image and video, listen to music etc. Omnia HD offers nothing new!!
CPU is not announced yet because Nokia have learned, never share your best feature with competitors. Base on the sample videos, UI of N97 is as fast as everything else, even better.
Ovi store will sell like iStore does. Asks the iPhone people why.
Nokia has many supporters because it have the best services and phones offered to us. This is why Samsung fanboy like you envy Nokia and hate us because we have more that you don't have.

Guys go to www.symbian-freak.com and get suport whot you need for your phone!

Aple have fantasize it's costumers, and your iphone is nothing, it's overpriced, and you should go compare it with some low-end old phones for capabilities and not to bother us here around, as it is not our taste for iphone at all!
And don't tell me about error update or phone update, because iphone os is not complete at all, and if it was good, than all the other big companies will want to have peace of aple OS, but is not good, and they goon for better OS and they have chosen Symbian OS60 for their devices okay, now do you see your position where you are with your iphone or not!!!
Don't worry I had one iphone3g to try, but in 18hours i have return to shop at ones!

theres a new 15 min video looking at the n97 posted by tnkgrl on his blog today, judging from it the n97 screen transition etc looks alot faster than it did in some of the older videos, makes me excited for it
