multitouch alternative is like drawing 2D in Autocad!!!!!
double tap(center point) + drag(radius) = one finger operation
phone Call Nokia R&D about your release of this one finger multitouch!!! let them know the idea and implement it in N97 OS webbrowser and photo browser!

Kevin, 23 Mar 2009the good thing about most Nseries are the speakers. They ar... moreagree, Nseries phones have very loud excellent speaker, do they have loud volumes output via earpiece? output volume on iphone via earpieces is very loud!

Kevin, 23 Mar 2009the speakers are under the Qwerty keyboard on the left and ... morethe good thing about most Nseries are the speakers. They are VERY LOUD and VERY CLEAR. Iphone speakers cannot compete with my N95 8GB-it blows them out of the room.

bcoz, nokia n97 have a big cpu maybe 600 mhz,
and 256 mb of RAM.

Looks like another crappy phone. If the N96 is only 16GB and lags going from menu to menu, just imagine a phone with 32GB built-in!

GP, 22 Mar 2009Personally touched and used the phone, it is a wonderful pi... moreApple does not invent Multitouch! I am not a lawyer, so i cannt comment on this patent things, but i think we still can have multitouch like software on N97.
here are some information i got from other site and some comments.
Stantum precision multitouch on resistive is way better than that on iphone, YOUTUBE "STANTUM" YOULL KNOW WHAT I MEAN! THEY SAID IT WORK ON SYMBIAN, WINMO AND ANDROID, only problem is it does need an extra small chip:( nokia should buy this company after symbian acquisition.
N97 has no this extra chip in it, but that does not stop us to have zoom rotate(plugin preferred) IN WEB/photo BROWSER with just one Finger

last word, resistive can be more powerful, useful and modern than that on iphone if it is well done (stantum is a good example)
Nokia n97 should have at least One-Finger Multitouch or multitouch alternative in it!!!!! this way, n97 is complete and 100% perfect

Personally touched and used the phone, it is a wonderful piece. Waiting for the final release. only lacking feature is the multi-toufh, which is patented by Apple.
