I decided to go for this one and after having it for about one day LOL I have to say it is not as big or heavy as I would expect.
It performs nicelly and has a good response, at least better than those crappy, lame expressmusic 55somethingsomething that my friends have.
Nice visibility on the screen and good functions. Email is really simple to use and configure and looks like the Ovi store finally lets nokia user have enough free apps as I am used to have from SonyEricsson for years now.
It is nice to use but no match for newer Iphone or android phones or for SonyEricsson (older or new). I have to other SE Phones, the k810i and the w980 and think the have more limitations on running apps as they are not smartphones and do not have wi-fi but they are simpler and faster to use. Symbian IS NOT the easier OS I have seen... sorry boys, but that is the truth.

It has been eight months between me and My expensive N97, I dont use office suite cos its as expensive as MS office and student for PC! I have a saviour in E72. I dont like complaining a lot but for me, N 97 has disappointed.
If I dont buy a blackberry storm, then I may settle for a Nokia C7 cos N97 has not met my needs.

DON'T GET THIS PHONE! It is the worst phone ever! I used to love nokia, but not anymore! It freeze all the time, it recharge itself, touchscreen is very bad, you have to unlock on the side of the phone to answer and 80% of the time it hangs up on the call. I have a friend to work for telephone company and she said this is the most complaint phone they have ever received and very expensive to buy. I give 1/10. I a few friends who also brought this phone, one of them got so mad they threw toward the wall. Because nokia would not accept there was a problem with this phone.

the n97 is so bad compared with the nokia 5230
i would recommend dat u by the nokia 5230.

I guys! I need help with one thing I have the option to get this phone, pre-owned or a Sony Ericsson X10 or X10 mini pro new and I am thinking on which one should be better. I don't like the huge size of this one an find it too big but the SE X10 mini pro might be too smaller... and this one has a better battery.
Need it to have good talk time, easy to carry, will text a lot and need to update facebook with it.
What do you think?

iv had 4 of these fone, 2 blacks & 2 whites. the first one i chucked at a wall coz it froze and the screen didnt work, everything else did. my second one it went through the wash. my third one i sat on it while it was slid up so the screen fell off & my last one i had the nothin worked, only the power button. it was a good phone but there are bad things.
