I've had this phone since July 2009. My overal... morethank you. i totally agree with you.
i bought this n97 about 3-4 months ago, the first 2 weeks is really frustrating as the main reason i bought this phone over the n97 mini because of the 32G (really need a huge storage for documents, audios n videos) and then i have problems with the phone memory (i didn't know much about the memory, how to organize it).
but when i read this , my phone's performance really boost and my adobe pdf trial is renewed automatically (so i didn't have to buy it on9. hehe.)
now, this has been my new habit every 2-3 weeks. it's very easy since everything is saved in mass memory and i have backup in memory card.
guys, if you really need a huge storage, i recommend you this phone, the memory's problem is not a big deal actually.
n97 is great. it has both touch n qwerty board. wide screen. long battery life. nice looking. great storage. good camera. clear 3G. user friendly. many 3rd party apps (u can change its interface to iPhone-like, android-like etc. in case u get bored with nokia's interface :D )
overall, i'm loving my n97 more and more!

qix, 05 Dec 2010maybe you just didn't change the settings..i have that kind... morehey just got mine and its giving me problems when i try to delete stuff i cant and when i try to move things to other memories i cant,and now when i try to use certain applications i cant go through ,i cant use youtube and facebook and i cant log on to the internet>>>>>> please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all,
I've had this phone since July 2009. My overall opinion, it's not bad. As far as the GPS goes, I've had no problems with it at all. In fact, the GPS is the best thing about the phone for me. I've learned to cope with the C drive memory issues. I've moved as many apps as possible to my E drive. I've also learned to avoid downloading apps that are made directly by Nokia. The Nokia apps always load directly to your C drive and take up too much memory. This includes apps like Nokia internet radio. You don't have a choice as to where you want the nokia made apps to be stored. Most other third party apps will allow storage to the E drive or SD card. For instance, instead of Nokia internet radio you should use Tunewiki. Tunewiki has just as much functionality and you can store it on your E drive. I've also learned that I can go to app manager and remove apps that are located on the C drive. In app manager, I am able to distinguish apps that are loaded on the C drive, from apps that are loaded on the hard drive (E drive). Apps that are loaded on the E drive will have a distinguishing symbol next to them that indicates so. Apps that are loaded onto the C drive will not have this symbol. Delete those apps that do not have a symbol next to them in order to clear up your phone memory and allow greater usability. However, be care when doing this. Most of the programs on your C drive are program files that the phone needs in order to operate properly. Removing those types of files could have unwanted consequences. Only remove those files in which you are confident are just user apps. Once this is accomplished, you will begin to appreciate your N97 more than users who have not cleared their C drive memory. some disadvanteg with c6-01 & c7 no questy keypad and stereo speakers but sound quality is very good.

maybe you guys who was telling that this handset suck got a wrong one,.look for it,if your n97 is made in china,oh well,that could be sucks! Also upgrading your s/w fix some bugiez!
