Iphone does not just offer features just so it would look good on paper like most of the other smartphones do. The iphone actually does deliver topnotch performance in what it does. It's features are carefully thought out to make sense. Although it does have missing features that should've been there. Like copy/paste and sms forwarding. But I've heard that copy/paste is officially going to be included in the 2.3 firmware update, along with landscape keyboard for sms and email. Although there's still no mention of sms forwarding, it wouldn't be so much of a pain, since you can simply copy and paste an sms onto a new one.

The problem of this phone now is when Nokia release the price n' how much it is? everybody keep on waiting from now then on...maybe it's around 600 dollars...! let people guess!

Low price+unlocked+Open source+nokia+features=success that's why i like nokia there not harsh on people for buying since they have different marketing lvls I have E70 next is 5800Xm smartphone and the N97

I'm not saying that the best hardware features in a phone makes it the best phone. Different phones are for different people. The iphone has a beautiful display, an intuitive user interface, an excellent web browser, and a boatload of cool apps. However, its hardware isn't that impressive, and it's telephony isn't up to par with other cell phone manufacturers. It all depends on what your priorities are. Also, the fact that the iphone is subsidized with cell carriers helps it sales out significantly as well. There are plenty of amazing phones that don't get picked up by carriers in the states, so their distribution is stymied. The iphone is an amazing device, however, it's just not for me. Even the most die-hard iphone fanatics, upon making a call on my phone, the SE m600i (which isn't known for having great call quality) remarked on how crisp the audio quality was, and how much louder and clearer it was compared to their iphone. I was awaiting the iphone's release two years ago and even went to the store with $700 in my hand, ready to buy a first generation one, cash, the day it came out. After trying the phone out, however, I decided that it wasn't for me. I didn't like the virtual keypad for messaging, and I'm not a big fan of web-browsing on my phone. Plus, watching video or listening to music on the device kills the battery life considerably, so, again, it just wasn't for me.

Off the top of my head, I have 3 friends and 2 family members who have this phone and I saw them no more than 3 days ago. Each one was having problems with call quality and 3g reception. So the issue wasn't totally remedied. I'm not saying the iphone sucks, but it's not the Jesus phone everyone says it is. It's on-par with most mid-range handsets at BEST when it comes to telephony.
