Ca... moreThose features of the innov8 beat the iphone as well, but the bigger and better screen on the n97, coupled with the qwerty keypad make it a more alluring choice than the innov8. The n97 couples a large 3.5 inch touch screen with a fast enough processor (no slowdown whatsoever in the tech demos) and so the camera isn't AS good as the innov8's, but, 5mp cameras are still awesome. I like the innov8 as well, but the n97 is more of a "total package" phone when you consider the screen's substantially larger size which makes web-browsing and video watching a better experience, and it's full qwerty keypad which makes it a more versatile messaging device.

for me this Phone gets gold medal, atleast one step further than iphone :)

And another thing,we r not as fat as u so that we can keep our camera on our upper belly,video cam under the lower belly,audio player under our hiny and video player above our tiny.
We need evrything in our one hand so that our other hand can be free to do other job(like holding our girlfrnds hand,or something else,which i bet u have never done because firstly u r fat and tiny underneath and secondly u have to hold so many things like camera i(diot) phone i(diot) pod.
Thats why we buy nokia who makes multimedia computers.

why? are you using videocams and cameras of a phone in a great event? ..thats ugly.
nokia is putting it all in a device but with a less quality and call it a smartphone. thats a big joke.
a real smart phone is just a phone, with best quality of features that is installed on it. not just to say they have it but less. thats dumb and waste of everything. iphone is easy to use and simply A PHONE, A WIDESCREEN IPOD, AND AN INTERNET DEVICE with all maximum quality of all that 3 features.
and by the way you say the sales is only with u.s.?
why did you think that the second iphone is realesed with many more countries this time?? try reading and watching a world news to catch up!
the first iphone is only legally sold in only 6 countries but they are in use in many more countries.
that is why the 2nd iphone is released in 60 more countries this time. try watching news so you will know the real technology today.

The Samsung i8510 looks the best so far.
My iPhone has everything else I need.
I want the best Symbian phone too, I hope Samsung releases a touchscreen S60 with a better camera than my N82.

You really must not like MMS,multi SMS,bluetooth stereo headphones,bluetooth file transfer,A GOOD CAMERA,recording voice/video,wallpapers,themes,mp3s as ringtones,picture display of callers/texts,thousands of free apps/themes ringtones,free music,COPY AND PASTING,videocall,expandible memory,open source,stereo speakers and using a stylus so you call a cab in the cold XD.....go take you hyped out ..out of date device some were else..just remember no apps+iphone =epic fail ....it's ok we know how it failed already XD...those sales are just from US

you guys keep telling and braging something thats never been a fair matchup. i have the n95 and the iphone 3G but i never compared the 2 because i know there is no phone that can compete with the iphone.
the apple has already 2 iphones released and nokia still has not produce any that can compete with the iphone, apple is preparing and ready to introduce the 3rd iphone this year and still your first so called nokia iphone killer phone has not yet released..
you guys should thank apple because if they did not create the revolutionary phone called the iphone, non of this cellphone company including nokia will ever make or even think to make such a very good phone for us.

Multimedia, plays Divx straight out of the box beats Nokia
Processor faster
Hardware 3d Graphics processor, has one N96, 5800, N97 don't.
Dedicated digital audio processor better than Nokia
S60 OS same as Nokia
Nokia not the best period, it's the brandname that sells and that's based on hype.

also all those supposed "problems" you listed have all been fixed via firmware patches, stop getting all you info from reviews of the initial software, they are wrong. 3g reception is now spot on and on par with any other 3g phone and the call dropping problem has been fixed aswell, battery life still isnt the longest but dont expect miracles from this phone as all touch screens are having the old battery problem

i m using nokia n series rit now before this i was using sony ericsson now wid nokia m facing lots of problem nokia fones are very slow and hav a hang problem i wud say sony is much better and even m going back to sony ericsson now.

shafy, 08 Jan 2009it was very nice.i cannot imaging the price.It's on pre-order for 800 USD, but will officially retails for $710 USD unlocked when it's announced. $110 USD more than an unlocked 16gig iphone.
