Wow, then by that logic, a homeless guy living in a cardboard box has a better home than me! I should be asking HIM for money! For PHONES no one beats nokia, period. The iphone's call quality is garbage compared to any Nokia, and most other phones. It's reception drops off, has dodgy 3g reception, and not to mention bad battery life. The iphone's user interface, however, is spot on. It also has a lot of cool apps to download, making it a fun gadget, but, by no means, a good phone. I have no problems making calls and receiving texts beside iphone users who have reception and call quality issues all the time and this is with ATT and Jailbroken T-Mobile-using Iphones. Will the n97 have a better user interface with more downloadable apps? Definitely not. However, will it have better call quality, a better camera, a full qwerty keypad, stereo bluetooth, more built-in memory with the option to expand, a higher resolution screen, dlna content streaming ability, divx support, and more customization than the iphone? Well, yes, yes it will.

Oh yea i can send,record,wallpaper and change the theme of my phone what can yours do other then play music and use internet without downloading something to try and make it better

According to who?
2 megapixels would be closer based on the effect of sales of the Nokia 6300 alone.
While we are on the subject on making up arbritary standards with no factual basis, the fact that 8 megapixel camera phone's exist would point to this measure being the current World's best standard.
Unfortunately Nokia fails to meet World's best standard with ANY of their handsets.

You are just trying to find something bad about this phone and can't so you state that about the 8mp camera. Honestly some people just can't be pleased no matter what.

Nokia should update from 5 to 8 or 10 MP camera,and a Zenon Flash.Plus why Nokia sticks with symbian only, Not Windows OS.And Should keep eyes open on their processor speed too.

PONS, 07 Jan 2009It is good to use,a very nice handset, but i would like to ... moreIt's not possiible, the processor Nokia used is not powerful enough, it supports up to 5 megapixel.
The one used in the Samsung i8510 will support up to 12 megapixels.
Both processors are made by Texas Instruments and are American.

i am n96 user, i m facing alot of difficulties about hang problem.n96 has 16gb inbuild memory,and expandable upto 24gb.why you made more memory phone,nokia phone cant proper work with max memory. i want purchase n97 but i am confused.change phone or change company.
i am not sadisfy, ur after sale servise. service too poor.
