there is no point in having an 8meg cam unless your putting up a billboard 5meg is more then enough for a phone.

only professional photographers will tell you that a normal phone user don't need anything more than 5 mega pixel, if a phone that comes out with 8 or even 10MP, it's just their marketing strategy... don't be a fool, you won't need 8 or 10MP unless you're in printing or graphic design business. A normal 5MP is more than enough to print a normal 4R or 5R family photo. Think again...the only important thing is the OS(operating system) that supports wide range of applications+user friendly interface. Thank you.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2008if you want an 8MP camera, go buy a digital camera... 5MP i... moreno it's not great if u want to be competitive. all of the other brends( samsung, lg, sony ericsson) have a phone with aN 8MPIX camera. so y nokia stay with the 5 mpix for almost 2 years..?
