i have a N86 and it works good and it has a lot of features and they work well.but it full of scratches because of the sliding.it scrached the camera 2 and the butons.so i want to change it and i ask you does this one scrach it self too?

yea..lagging is a serious issues in some sections..battery backup is fine if u switch off ur Wi-Fi n Bluetooth..sound / camera quality r nice...qwerty keypad is perfect..!!!

i've succefully installed this one and can edit the doc. but you may need to sign it first. try search on google how to sign the apps if you don't know how to.

duke, 28 Jul 2010i'm a n97 mini user starting last month. my honest opinion,... moreeven i got my n97 mini a month back..n ya lagging is frustrating at times..especially d photo viewing section n sometimes the inbox section lag big time..
P.S. the handsfree take some time to initialize..so dun go crazyyy if dey dont work properly in d first few days!!!
all in all its not a bad phone... a rather good one if u can overlook its slow performance..!

Does anyone ever use the third party office apps on n97 mini (since it's only for viewing)?
Coz i oftenly used office apps (excell, etc) and need to know the compatibility for computer, is it like e-series (which i think not too good) or even worse compared to the windows mobile office apps.

i am using n97 mini... its just been a month and its display has gone for good nokia waranty ppl asking 4 10000 rupees to correct the problem... dnt buy the phone guys im regrettin real bad!

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2010what kind of cable do i need to output video to tvi think i have seen someone posting the answer on the video out cable in this section. but here i copied his post. use this cable to connect your n97 mini to tv.
"Nokia Video Out Cable CA-75U. It's compatible with Nokia N79 N82 N85 N86 N95 N96 N97 N97mini"

I am planning to buy a new cell phone & I rea... morei'm a n97 mini user starting last month. my honest opinion, yup, it's lagging sometimes especially you open more than one apps at one time. also, it take quite some times to load the captured photos in the photos section (or photo gallery in most of nokia phones). other functions (wi-fi, camera, stereo sounds, GPS, web browser) are working great for me. overall it is really a good phone and suits my needs well. qwerty keyboard is also good.
Note: when i 1st got the phone, i always have "memory low. close some apps" error and it always restarted by itself. but after i change the default memory in use for messaging from c: to mass memory, the problem is now gone.

I've been using my N97 mini since Jan of this year, and the best thing I like about this phone is the ability to have a "real time" social networking. I became a certified Facebook addict since owning a Nokia N97 mini. LOL

I am planning to buy a new cell phone & I really like the N-97 mini. But I read a lot of negative reviews about the phone online such as it being sluggish and freezing with constant restarts. Can current users please tell me if its true and if I should buy it or not?
