Hey friends, m glad to tell that my anticipation of many months were over last week when I picked up a mini. Trust me guys n gals, its an awesome phone. I updated my firmware immediately. Sound is excellent through the stock headset. T.V output is superb. Keypad beats all else. I have put up this post through the mini. Will keep u'll posted over the week. Anybody with any confusion could ask me. I'll give u an honest feedback over my experience with the mini.

Guys guys Important for those who experienced blue blur screen and then it restarts while sending lots of msgs or while running some apps the bug can be fixed just by changing the msg memory from phone to harddisk or memory card.
I've done that it works fine the phone hasn't restarted now.

A very nice and sleek phone. Being using it for months without much problems except for the battery which is not as strong as that of my Nokia E71.

just note that both are having quite low RAM compared to other smartphones. So, once in a while, you may experienced lag response when you open more than one apps at one time. so, perhaps you may need to install 3rd party software to monitor the RAM usage effectively...:)

HELP, 26 Jul 2010Guys,, should i go For N97 Mini or Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro?... morethey have almost an identical features while vivaz pro wins in the video recording department with its HD capability. But, in term of build material, n97mini wins. It has very tough build material and looks nice. While vivaz pro, when you hold it, you would feel like holding a plastic toy. The keyboard slider also not very smooth on vivaz pro compared to n97 mini slider.

Hi guys i currently have the iphone and its giving me alot of trouble with reception now im thinking of getting a new contract and is really confused about which phone to get im stuck between the n97 mini and the sony ericsson Xperia x10 mini pro which one is alot better. Iv never had a sony ericsson before how r they compared to the n97

i should know. my moms old e90 (and her current n97) never received any OFFICIAL software updates so she was stuck at v12 in both phones

Swee, 26 Jul 2010Which is the best n97 mini or e72dear swee... you cannot compare both of these phones...becos they are of different segment..e72 is a business phone...n97mini is a fun phone plus it will do all that e72 can do with greater efficiecy. music,movies,videos,chatting,facebook etc. is like pc on n97mini.. so there is no comparison. n97mni is a killer.

I have had nothing but trouble with this phone. I brought it ona contarct, and the first day I had it, it froze. Phone was sent away and replaced under Early Life failure (ELF)
Handset was replaced and I again had exactly the same faults with a brand new device.
The facebook app does not work.
Had the music player running, came up with "System error" Was unable to change songs/volume or turn music player off. Turned the phone off and it restared, all while the music kept on playing.
When browsing the web, the screen will slowly go blank and restart. This is definately not normal. As much as I would hate to admit it, I would have rather the Iphone. I work for a telco, and by far, the phone I have the most complaints about and returns is the N97 mini.
very dissapointing since I gave up the Nokia E72 for this crappy handset.

N97 is better than e72 bcs it has a good camera than e72 and looks good, give u both the touch screen exp, and the querty one as well, N97 is lacking on two things 1 is processor 2 is battery backup as compare to e72 but as compare to N series or other phone 7 hour TT backup is not bad...
