Most of the things you do on this phone, it does not ewen riech the clock freq at 300mhz.
You can try that with app "energy pro".

hi to all n97 mini users! I'm planning to buy this phone soon, but I aint pretty sure if the performance of this phone could give me satisfaction. Is this phone worth buying? Is it true that this phone is really the stable version of the classic one?

I have been a loyal nokia fan. I am using n96 and previously used n70, n73, n82, n85 and more. I think the overall experience greatly depend on the CPU speed. I dunno why nokia would not put in a 600mhz CPU. It will make whole lot of differences. 434mhz is a bit marginal... My n96 is ok but it's dual 2xx MHz CPU is a bit too slow.

3MR, 16 Jul 2010Does the navigation feature of this phone free when you buy... moreThe navigation SW is free, but you have to update it every once in a while to keep the maps current.

Hooking the N97 Mini up to Nokia's PC suite will update the maps for you free of charge.

Does the navigation feature of this phone free when you buy it, or must be downloaded from the Nokia website?

Saifxk2, 15 Jul 2010can anyone advice me between Nokia N97 mini or Nokia X6 ? ... morewhatever said and done, physical qwerty keyboard is much better than a touch screen one as its more comfortable for texting. u use both the phones together for a few days n then u'll realise the wisdom in my words. do urself a favour. go to a mobile store n keep both the phones side by side n then u see the difference. i need not say this that automatically u'll choose the mini. i'd recommend anybody else with this confusion to do so. i dont think u'd need even a fraction of a second to decide. just close ur eyes n pick up the mini. y do u even need to think so much.

                          I have this phone now
                          it's awesome
I used to have x6-16gb, but I wanted a phys Keyboard, so
I shifted to mini instead of n97 because of the problem in the c memory

honey, 13 Jul 2010hey can anybody plz help me ... m hell confused between e72... morethe e72 & n97mini are both different phones.

The e series nokia phones are mainly for business use whilst the n series are mainly for multi media usages like musi
                                c, movies, games etc

if ur usage is more of multi media & u have a large collection of music that u want to carry & play a lot of games & watch movies, I would suggest u to go for the n97 mini...

Although both the phones have a 5mp camera, n97 has a better lens compared to the e72 as it has the carl zeiss optics lens.

N97 mini has a touch screen display as well as a slider qwerty keypad, has built in 8gb memory which is better compared to the e72 as it has only 256 built in memory

i am presently using the n97mini which I bought a week back prior to which I was using the e71.

The reason I did not go for the e72 is because the n97 mini has all the things that the e72 has plus much more like a larger display, tv out, better camera, touch screen, better spaced slider keypad, 8gb built in memory + 32gb expandable, stereo loudspeakers with better output

                                the cons are lower processor...

If u will be using navigation as well, the n97 is much better due to the larger display.

Do remember to use a scratch guard on the n97 the day u buy as the scratches will become very prominent.

The best feature that I liked on both the phones are incase u receive any call & want to silence the ringtone, just turn the phone down with the display facing downwards & the ringtone silences itself... Also the moment u answer the call on n97 the touch screen display deactivates automatically when placed near ur ear...

Also, in the n97 the moment u touch ur phone to ur ear when u have an incoming call, it gets answered automatically...

I would strongly suggest u to go for the n97 mini, If u have the budget as it costs a about 35% more than the e72...
