N97 mite hav better rating cause of its 32 gig memory ...... moreIt has nothing to do with 8gb or 32gb hanging problem.
The N97 was released with few hardware board architecture faults, not that much as it's fixed with software updates, otherwise most users they know that they have big nokia on pocket and they fell up with lot of software that they rarely use it at all, but few of this software have it's plug-ins running on the background an often make phone unstable.
The N97mini is real and stable phone, is meant as a correction of N97.
You can put 16gb or 32gb memory card on N97mini and will not cause any problem at all.

But seriously 32gb with the same processer of n97 mini makes it hang a lot .........mini is better as it hardly hangs cause its 8gb memory is not too big to handle for a processor.......... And mini is not made of cheap plastic and is not thick as n97 ........... If u want technology for the price of n97 and n97 mini ......... Get the omnia pro b7610 or x2 xperia

i wonder why the n97 has a higher rating than the mini even though most (if not all) reviews say that the mini is a huge improvement over the original n97

Dont buy this phone , i recommend yuo to wait for n8 or meego phone

i bought n97 mini 3 month back...really huge disappointed frm nokia..2 time i update version i faced all problem that anyone can face in handset...hang,touch screen lock,incoming volume,i really tired from all this thing suggest not buy this handset...

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010The Mini is available in 3 colors, ie., Cherry Black, Garne... moreyeah, the fake one now is just to much going into the market, why wont somebdy juz do smthng bout ths. the nme, the shpe, all same but, the quality is truly2 awful, b4 u by phne, u should look nto the red dot in the camera bhind, if the fon should b 5mp, the red dot must b big s the 5mp should b, but, if the fake one, its to small, lke vga one, so,, b a btter lookg n watch out if u got a really cheap hpon,

Bops, 13 Jul 2010The processor on the mini is quite sufficient for all the d... morewell yes i know that. but you cant deny the problems with the n97/mini... im still interested in it though. im actually not a normal user but not really a power user as well.. just in between.
maybe i'll just wait for the n8. but it does not have a keyboard :(

manu, 08 Jul 2010 Guys this phone doesn't had a look great look and after ... morescratches can appear on any surface of any device or any material. it depends on the amount abuse u deal out to ur device. if ur screen gets scratched then use a screen guard to protect it than blame the device for ur carelessness.

So you can go ahead and buy the white one without any worries. just make sure u buy it from a popular dealer. the best possible choice would be to buy from a nokia priority centre. if not any megastore or authorised Nokia dealers would be advisable so that you wouldn't get cheated. Lots of cheap chinese copies/fakes have been dumped into the market. Beware of offers of dual SIM/Double batteries/free goodies/cheap price. these offers oftenly sell the exact replica/fake/copy of the original device which is usually hard to detect. generally the finishing of the device should tell u all. it is advisable to be cautious when you invest your money in something expensive.

It is upto the software's ability to harness the processing power efficiently that decides the operating speed of the device. Competing companies try to play the market by creating a hype about how their instruments have the most advanced processors and they do charge a bomb for this extra power. Unless you are a geek, then as a normal user, i dont see any sense in paying extra or craving for something you may never use because u may never hit more than 80% of the upper limit of the processing power of the ordinary processors commonly available. A good piece of software would use lesser amount of resources than a bad one. If any of u feel any response lags then plz update the software than blame the processor and the RAM. So dont be fooled by marketing tactics of other companies. always choose what is best for you.
