This phone is awesome, i love it expecially with the GPS. This phone really great.

What a stupid question!!! Time waster! Don't you have a mind of your own. Can't you decide which colour you like best. Hang on, I know, white is best because black heats up more. If white doesn't heat up as much it must mane the phone run faster because it is cooler. We all know computers run faster when colder. And, White will last better because black will melt in the sun.
Honestly, ask a stupid question and you deserve a stupid answer.

Problem with n97 mini firmware v12.0.110.
icons inside Menu and Application gets very small in size, occurs 2-3 times in every day.
resolved only after restarting the handset.
No problem was reported with older version.
Phone responses badly in few of the applications after updating the firmware.
recently nokia failed to keep reliability factor.

Just upgraded to version 12 firmware thru NSU. Took only a few minutes. Updating to v11 took longer. So I think v.12 did a few and minor bug fixes only. No notable changes to be expected. But I would recommend the firmware upgrade. I'm a programmer and I know bug fixes however minor improves a firmware performance.

Do you know how many disk & drives I got C:, E:, F:, + other hidden D: & Z:, why all that memory. If you get a low c: memory and whatever high memory on E and F the phone does not work properly, so please its better that nokia make c: at least 8GB.
the other thing related to the camera no face detection why??? and the quality not as good as you expect from 5mp camera.

anybody got an idea, why names stopped appearing on incoming text messages. no dups in address book. calls and sms sent/delivery reports work fine.

I don't understand why this phone has a low rating here. This is actually a great phone much better than the original N97. Practically bug free, that is if you regularly update it. And I honestly think people in this forum rate this phone based on a defective unit that they received. Ratings should be based on the actual features and perfoarmance of the phone. And again, bugs are common. You just have to update your phone to fix them.

i.m using this phone for about 5 days. At the moment, everything works fine and i must say it's a great phone. I have problem with "memory full and close some apps" error at the earlier stage. But after I change the default memory in use for messaging from c: to mass memory e:, the error has gone. The only downside of this phone is that the OS seems eaten up a lot of RAM. You can't open too many apps at the same time, otherwise it will hangs or restarts by itself.
