The Nokia N97 mini is horrible! What they do not tell you about this phone is that every time you touch the touch-screen, it vibrates slightly. This setting is embedded into the phone, and cannot be removed. While it sounds like nothing, it has made me REALLY REALLY regret buying this phone! Make sure the phone store lets you USE the phone, rather than just look at its design. Anyone thinking of buying this phone definitely should reconsider.

I will not recommend any one because im using and after FW upgrade keypad giving problem, moreover there is no any improvement in sound system. Batteries also goes quickly. Over all very poor addition.

for those who had poor battery life long, try charge your n97 mini with cable usb connect to your laptop or pc..its give more volt power to your n97 mini..u can differentiate the changes with normal charger..

I have always used Noki for the psat 12 years except for a brief period with sony ericsoon also. Paid almost 24k for it-the fone always just gets switches off for every second call.I amd not able to connect to the net with this fone to my laptop. I ahd e71 for almost two years and never had any problem at all and had to replace it since the batter was weak. I sent a detailed complaint to their custmer care and it bounced. Nokia priority staff suggest that i switch off and restart everyday and even though I do it - the problem persists, After my repeated compaliants they sent it to their service centre for two days and the problem still persists. He has now offered a buy back at 70% discount!!
Nokia has really swindled me.

Turn off your 3G network discovery, turn off unnecessary sensor, keep the backlight at minimum.
You'll find the battery life much better than before.
Refer to your nokia manual.

I bought the nokia n97 mini and it's a great phone there is no problem at all only when i want to use the internet i don't know how to change it to wlan it's appearing my wirless and the key but when it's connected i can't enter any website it will tell me unable to server. please can someone help me? thanks

it really fantastic and works very well it's just like a plamtop when u works with its key board and when u use net then u feel its really very smooth like a laptop. i m saying becoz i m using it from last two month is amazing;;;

the newest firmware update made my stereo speakers better... it sounds better and louder.

Worst phone in my whole life. It is worst than Motorola A1000. Always said memory full, plz close down some app. Actually I just got my replacement phone a minute ago and this is my fourth replacement n97 mini from different nokia center. NOT Suggest to buy.

n97 mini rockss...i`m using n97 mini ,,it`s really a good smart phone....built quality is amazing..camera & music is very good ...internet browsing is excellent in n97 mini,,overall i give 9/10 for rocksolid n97 mini.....dont`t listen to others nokia phones are best,,,,my n97mini is very roughly used one,there`s no problem so far

Is it too hard for you to go through the 100's of comments already posted to find the answer yourself. No it's not. When reading the user reviews I hope you also see how annoying it is to have idiots asking the same stupid questions like "is it a good phone" or "which is better". How can you expect anyone to give you a suitable answer when only you know what you want. So, try and answer your own question by creating your own criteria and researching your needs. All i can tell you is that i like my n97 and can deal with the sluggish performance and poorish battery life. You will also need to get used to regular reboots and even resetting to default settings if you are a power user - which i doubt you are. An iphone prob suits you better. iphone is targetting
