i recently updated my firmware via OTA, ver 12.0.110. I dont yet what is the major change in the phone.

I stay connected online with my N97 mini using Bolt as my favorite browser.
I check my Facebook account daily, never missing anything on the no. 1 social network site.
I update my Wordpress blog, daily.
I read this forum daily.
I read the news, local and international, daily.
I check software updates and support from Nokia support discussions, daily.
I check my various email accounts, daily.
All of these and more I can possibly do, because I have my N97 mini.
Great music and video! Sexy form factor with a qwerty keypad! Great phone! Have one!

is it really ... moreThere is few reasons why they say bad things about this phone.
1. Some of them are jealous, because they run for highest number, and they lose their money and that's all..., they are fun-boys.
2. Some of them are with feminine attitude they throw the stone then with their big ear on attention our reaction, so they learn the truth with it.
3. Some other, by laughing and hating they think the price will drop sooner and they will have chance to bay cheaper this phone.
3. Some of them can't sell that much of other devices, and they try to turn costumers in different directions.
4. Some of them provoke their friends, because they know they read this messages.
There made be other reasons to name, but i tell you this, i still have N5800xm very good phone for that price it is, but i want to have better phone, and that better symbian phone was for me only N97mini i own for a month now, and all i can say i have peace on my mind, works fine, only one time crashed because bad software installation, but there is going to be more updates for for this phone.

hi guys
i got this phone only a week back. i like the phone very much. but the battery life is too short on my. it wont last for a day even if i use it for only talking.(no music and videos ) ..........
anyone can help..........

That Flashing Envelope means 1 of two things. 1, yes, you have too many messages in storeage. The other most likely is that you have received a msg on an old phone that you didn't read and then put the sim into a new phone. Therefore flashing to inform of an unread message in your old phone. Put you sim back in old phone, read message and put sim in new phone. Problem solved!

anonymous, 30 Jun 2010does any one no how to get rid of a flashing envelope on th... morebrother, that flashing sms symbol is nothing but an indication of SIM sms storage full, so at msg menu choose option and there select SIM msgs, then delete one or more sms from the SIM storage, then the problem solved... you won't get any flashing envelope

Flashing envelope means that you have too many text messages and you need to delete some. Other wise you wont recieve texts when your memory fills.

Touch screen went off and some gel looks like got stuck inside the screen. what dod i do? Is it still usable

My firmware version is just updated now from 11 to 12.0.110 ,but I dont know what is included, Nokia says better perfomance. I ll post later again about its perfomance. Cheers mini users.

i agree. It is excessively priced with mediocre output. I had to sent it for repair of camera and battery after less than of 8
months of use! Now i have problems with software, i guess, as it gets switched off or restarts now and then. Of course battery is horrible for even a moderate user.

i wud lyk to buy a web software friendly mobile,... moredont worry about the comments given here....
my brother is using this mobile for 3 months.he has no problems.all features are great.it is worth the price.
i am also going to buy this one in a weeks time.

better buy a slut than buying n97 mini..atleast it lasts long..only 4 hrs n battery dead..charging prob..dnt go 4 looks..looks dont matter...n97..not mini...rox..best 1 of nokia

wow its really gud phone friends and really worth buying.....i hav been using it from last 2 mnths n no complaints at all....browsing,watching movies,listening songs.......playing games..everything is awsome....so go for it.......
