Have this phone for 7 months
i have some small complaints but this phone can suit what i want to do on my phone
buggy firmware but still work for me
capacitive screen is better for me
multitouch is welcomed
more ram is a must
gpu is needed
speaker could be louder and clearer
camera sensor could be larger
buttons should be more easy to press
work well with official skype app over 3g and let me send chaep sms
ovi maps is just a bonus
joikuspot is ranked second just after skype in my top app list
fm radio is my favourite
my next will still be n series phone but powered by meego

I definitely do not recommend this phone. After only about three weeks started have several problems.. Touch screen problems, the phone shuts itself off, getting errors when trying to get into Web (System error), Memory full: try to close some applications error even though I have like maybe 20 contacts, or 25 pictures...Dont buy this phone

Im sorry but i doubt S*3 would be better... After seeing the video released from thier website. Its just the same... All they did was made the graphics fast (which i think they already placed in ads when n97 was released but it failed since it was just false advertising)... Even samsung has the technology to reinvent their own software like Bada and I think nokia should also get into the android market. Even SE knows android is a good thing hence producing x10 that runs on droid... I will not be surprised nokia would not be able to have a "n95" moment again since they are too stubborn to produce the best phone again...Im a loyal nokia user having E90,N95,E71,N900 and N86 but I think I gave nokia too much chances that they keep on giving me crappy products. On all phones I loved the E71 the most. bec. of battery... Thats it... Software was crappy though and lags a bit...N86 was ok.. but really dated compared to Vivaz and the freaking heavy weight and stubborn camera buttons screws everything up... No wonder it did not quite made it.

hy. For all nokia n97 mini users. Please help me 4rm following questions
1) does it always becomes intense hot at the bottom of the phone. I mean below the battery?
2) does its sound is louder than the n 5800.
3) can the camera flash be ever off.

No doubt Nokia is the world leader in the mobile market but they are getting complacent now.
Don't rest on your laureals Nokia or soon all the hard work of last one decade will be undone.
Nokia should realize that they havn't been up to the mark with the touch phone category and its true that S60V5 has been a big failure. Untill N73, N95 or N86 it was all good but since N96 Nokia is not learning from its mistakes and S60V5 further has made matter worse for the likes of 5800, N97, etc.
You can't win a war if you don't know your enemies and Nokia is sleeping unware of advancements in the other platforms like winmo7, RIM and Android. Poor hardware coupled with the lame software has been the story for Nokia since touch phones evolved.
Now can Symbian^3 save the skin? Only time will tell.

Im glad someone here agreed on this reality... I love nokia that's why im pointing out their mistakes... I love their concept but really, not enough GREAT hardware to back it up... Also They should really introduce it to US consumers more since Iphone is really crappy when its used as a phone but for everything else its great... From all the infos that i collected from different blogs and websites, I think Nokia is slowly killing itself with dated phones that always dubbed as Flagship phones BUT never really quite make it. You know as a consumer of nokia, I want to have a great user experience, Good software and after sales support and a revolutionary product that will make stuff easier to do. But seriously nokia, dont try to fool people again of false advertising. learn from n97's fail. Its really a good product but the internal memory screwed it up and sooooo many freakn software issues that you have to release a n97 mini... If this will not be adressed, I will be going back to apple. I know its a dumb phone but atleast its does soo much more than nokia...
