i had skype,face book mob in my mob but wasnot launch ,so i had to remove then but downloding icon not active in OVI again. what can i do . also i have a strange problem, which is the rotation when mob is in normal layout the screen apperaing as iam open the slide and outo rotation is working ! its dring me crazy it happen many times, while this happen, lock botton& power is not working so i had to remove the battery to turn the mob off. then it working normally
i think it not logic to do this every time , please help me

vck, 08 May 2010i just got the phonr but im thk the camera is not really cl... moreactivate your camera, click Options, Settings, Image quality... there are three available settings: small, medium and large. Select Print 5M-Large
Poor picture quality can be caused by one of these things: dirty lens, shaky hands while shooting,and or shooting distant subjects in dark surroundings.

I'd just like to comment on the calendar - it's not that bad. I know what you mean about been hard to select dates. But if you get a stylus it really isn't an issue. I have found a stylus can really compliment the n97 and is really handy when small links appear in web pages. The ability to use a stylus is a true advantage over oversensitve capacitive displays.

I still have over 190 mb free on my c: drive. Nokia have given you plenty of room on c: drive in the n97 mini. You have to remember most apps are under 1mb in size. So if you can fill up the c: drive i think you are just downloading every app under the sun for bragging rights. Really, how many apps do you need when so many are gimics you soon tire of and delete. Also remember you have the mass storage for storing your data.

The Bolt mobile browser from Bitstream is a lot way faster than Opera Mobile 10. Very ideal for low bandwidth/data transmission.

I have spent about a day with my new N97 Mini and I have to say that while it does have a fairly steep learning curve as a well as some major flaws (read: calendar), once mastered it is a pleasure to use.
The hardware feels solid, robust: a high quality phone no doubts whatsoever. The slide out keyboard is one of the best I have handled ever. Kudos to Nokia there.
The touchscreen is remarkably good ( for a resistive type touchscreen ) and responds to light presses, unlike its elder sibling, the N97. Images, videos and text on the screen look quite crisp. I would have liked a faster processor though. Oh and the speakers are fantastic.
The software is however a bit of a disappointment. While being alright for basic functions like dialing a number or selecting a contact, the calendar is horrendous! Its amazing how a company like Nokia could mess up so badly here. It just has not been optimized enough for touch based inputs. Selecting individual dates is virtually impossible, they are too closely set.
The media player is not exceptional either. It works, but does not provide for a very engaging experience.
The same applies to the video player.
Ovi maps and the free turn by turn navigation was impressive. As an Indian user, I found the maps of Indian cities to be quite good. Overall, a satisfactory experience.
The browser in my testing was unspeakable. If you use the web on your phone frequently, download Opera Mobile or Skyfire immediately.
The camera works as advertised. I am not a photographer, and for my modest expectations it seemed just fine.
Wrapping up, while I was certainly not 'WOWed' by the device, it provides an amazing no. of features, well implemented for the most part in a great, high quality package.
