it is an excellent phone :)i've had it for three weeksnow. the only problem is that it hangs quite often :( otherwise it's amazing !!

I still can't get over how many people complain about the battery. I've had my N97 mini for nearly 2 months and not once had a problem with the battery. I am still finding the battery to be much better than N95 8gb. I actually find this phone to better than n95 in every aspect apart from multitasking. But n97 multitasks quite well for real life. So what if you can't load 10 or 20 apps to show off.
I did get some slowness after installing and uninstalling many apps. After a rebuild I have found it is far better to install your applications to the C: drive. It results in faster start up and far less lag. Also, don't install handy taskman - I have found it causes lags and probably leaks memory itself. My phone is flawless without it.
Lastly, to everyone who keeps asking the same question about what to buy, which is better or if this is a good phone - please use your brain and read through the comments that have already been posted and form your own opinion. By doing this you can get an answer to you 'urgent' questions. And, read the manual before you ask basic questions - it will save cluttering the comments with junk

Hey guys,
If the problem is only with the Battery, how about buying and carrying a backup battery?!!! i know its a bit silly, was just thinking of an option to those who really like the phone but desperately in need of huge battery life?!!!
If at all the idea is good (i dont mind carrying a spare battery daily :)), how much does it cost?!
Please help. I am planning to buy it asap!!

Yes i'm really love N97 mini cos it too small it easy to make a call to someone! it not expensive like iphone and esay to use.........

2.can... moreMany thanks, today is my 3rd day with this mob, but i have to same small tip to rifd who complain from battery life- if you just bought it less than one week- let ur battery die then turn off ur mob , then re charge ur mob all night. it will be ok and every time u want to charge ur mob do the same until ur battery life start to be good , i have my old nokia now round 4 years and i was using it like crazy but i didnot change the original battery until now, ys i not same performance but i keep it working.

this phone is useless, the battery only last for a day, and it's slow for a high end phone (only has a 434MHZ processor), nokia should have put a new processor in it, like the E72 who has a 600 MHZ processor and is very fast.

[deleted post]n97 mini is better than e72 bcz e72 is a very old phone (2009,june) and on other side n97 mini (2009,september) with all the features more than e72 !
i suggest u to buy n97 mini!!

I love my phone is so small and it has a cool keypad and a lot of people have it so that is one of the main reasons i bought it because some people think is too expensive and a lot of small dont have it because it is too expensive. when your recording you can record for a long time unlike other phones the have a time limit. you can draw on the drawing application and be able to send it to your contacts and apply it to your screen saver. The only thing thab i hate about it is tghat they dont have much accesoris for it because its not to popular and they dont expect to much people to have this phone.

Hi friends, I've been using this phone for 2weeks. I'm very disappointed every time when I watching online video.The loading was so slow that I had to wait a very long time to watch a few second of the video n wait for the loading again.(Nokia 5800Xm also has the same problem) One of my friends whose Samsung STAR WIFI's online video is very good (fast loading n smooth playing). Anybody has the solution, pls help. TQ.

This is a very interesting application which has alarm sound like the car alarm system.After installed this U can lock n unlock ur N97 MINI or 5800 XM's screen by just touching (swiping) the sensor at the top left corner twice.(Number of touch n place or key to touch can be customised.} This software is available at most of the mobile phone dealer.
