I hope nokia dont forget all the people who have already bought there phones when they move to symbian^3. I have the nokia n97 mini and am very happy with it.

camera quality is worst, 5 megapixel camera is like 2 megapixel.Head phone quality is very poor looks like a chinese headphone.Voice clarity of headphone is very poor.

All of the things you stated were personal opinion, not factual in any way, so stop spouting off cause you don't like Symbian.
If you don't like Symbian, don't buy it, get yourself a nice buggy WinMo phone, or a the iPhone OS, that requires no amount of intelligence to operate. It's so bland, & void of any smart-phone capabilities that is a total joke.
You also have the audacity to complain about Nokia's Ovi store charging for apps, but Apple's App store charges for apps, & so does Android's App store as well.
You recommend Samsung phones, but they lack FW updates for their phones so bad, it's a total joke.
You stick with your "pretty", albeit "non-functional" mobiles, & leave the mobiles that require the user to have some knowledge about operating systems to people that know what a real smart phones is capable of.
BTW....I guess people dislike the Symbian OS so much, that is why Nokia controls almost 43% of the global mobile market share.

what acheap and small operating system, with 90% of apps having certificate problem and majorty of which nokia want u to purchase from their so called ovi store and n.gage arena even after you have paid a lot for a phone.. also the User Interface is very boring and conventional from years in nokia. now symbian OS and n.gage is being closed at end of this year(you can cnfirm this on gsmarena or from many sites giving you the latest news).
nokia is changing the OS from symbian s60 to symbian^1 and ^4 but with not so much change of application compatibilty and also the UI.
now wake up u ppl go for a bigger plateform like WINDOWS, MAC and ANDROID with extlmly attractive and lovely UI, looks, and speacialy touch screen cz its the age of touch screen nw. HTC, APPLE and SAMSUNG have made NOKIA very down from this point of view. nokia exeed only in durability and btry lifr which is also being coped by other menufacturers now.
finaly guys choose an htc/samsung windows mobile or iPHONE according to ur affordability, and u will c that what a little device can do..... it will change ur life and view about a phone with its pretty UI and the very bigger OS than this symbian.

Actually, Nokia N97 is best. If you talk about camera so i would say it's awesome. However, battery back up is not that much good but still is i like that phone.

Many are complaining that the camera quality seems to be less than 5MP. I think that all these people just forgot to remove the plastic transparent cover that is attached on the lens. If they remove it, they will hopefully discover that the camera is actually very good and hence stop blaming the phone. In addition I have to say that this phone is one of the best models of Nokia, if not the best. It's not perfect though. Things like the short battery life and the (sometimes) weak signal are big drawbacks.

... morein your region you may have got a stylus free, but i have not got it with my n97 mini. also there is no place to keep stylus within the phone body, so u may have to carry it
separately, not exactly convenient.

Hey guys just bought my N97Mini today.... the first bug i found is in the phone hardware, its not able to recognize the simcard even after inserting the simcard it says "Sim Card not Inserted" & the profile remains to offline... plz help me with a solution... thnx but its a gr8 phone to type & operate...

You need to upgrade to version 11 to ensure that the phone doesnt hang and the NOKIA logo when you switch it on. If its hang do a reset by pressing SHIFT , SPACE BAR , BACK SPACE and POWER ON BUTTON. It will reset the hp to original setting and whatever you installed will be gone. maybe the OVI shop , the files that you download , are corrupoted and caused the hp to hang. This is what NOKIA suspected. Version 11 solve the problem.

Download opera mini in ovi store it serve you very well because is fast and use less kb if you do not have a unlimited plan

I have this phone since a week now, and its a very good phone if not the best.
Ppl who think the resistive touch is not good let me tell u a secret, when you tap the screen USE YOUR THUMB NAIL INSTEAD OF THE FLAT OF YOUR THUMB AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE. EVEN SLIGHTEST PRESS WILL NOW REGISTER AND SCROLLING UP DOWN IS VERY EASY SO TRY YOUR NAIL AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE!
Having said that, the slow processor is evident in places which are intensive in processing. RAM is the other thing which nokia screwed up, most of the times its fine but 10% of the time you may run out of memory.
overall its a very good phone with perfect form factor, very good finish, excellent screen, very stable software now, good widgets like facebook, cnbc n bloomberg, and after using the trick mentioned above VERY VERY GOOD TOUCHSCREEN SENSITIVITY. The only areas which are a let down is processor, memory and to some extent the symbian software which is not new anymore. Btw the physical keyboard is very good as well, and ya i am writing this opinion on it, its like a mini pc now! the best phone frm nokia at the moment

How is it possible that the regular N97 is ranked so much higher than the N97 Mini?
The N97 Mini beats the N97 is every way, except for the slightly smaller screen size.
It is much better built, the OS flows better on the mini, the camera is slightly better, it definitely looks better, & the keypad is better with more tactile feedback & key travel.
Why is everybody rating the Mini so bad?.....I suspect it's disgruntled N97 owners who are angry that only after a couple months of the release of the N97, Nokia releases a better, albeit smaller version, of the N97......OR it's SE & Apple fanboys that always hate Nokia, no matter what they release.
