Resistive screen is not well sensitive with your finger. However, you can work with your finger/Neil by pressing on the screen rather than gentle touch.
If you want to operate your phone by your finger touch (not press) then you have to buy a Capacitive touch screen phone. Becoz Capacitive screen can detect gentle human touch, otherhand resistive can't.

The battery of a nowaday phone definetely lasts shorter than those released 3 years ago. One can argue that this is mainly because of the much larger screen and the fact of being touchscreen. Since the rest of the features haven't changed a lot (OK, there is a GPS receiver now but who uses it regularly?) and by assuming that the use of the phone is more or less the same(OK may be there is some more internet use now), I can't see any other reason. Besides these, however,the battery life depends strongly on the brand of the phone. Nokia is definetely not good in the battery life area and therefore any product they release (like N97mini) has a weak battery.

If you think the camera quality is not good, dont use the camera button to click pictures,tap the screen to click pictures,when you click the camera button the phone shakes a bit and the picture becomes hassy...Thus TAP THE SCREEN TO CLICK PICTURES

-twice to nokia care within a month ( didn't reboot after downloading some programs ) when you try to reboot it gives you the nokia logo and that's it...welcome to nokia care !

People complaining about the battery life, please use your brain nowaday phone handle more things than before. Think before you comment and go try iphone and compare this phone batt life with this and you will know the different and im sure you all wont complain anymore

hi guys
i have one question
does the n97 min can handle the multitasking very well
like opening 3 apps or surfing on the internet by 4 pages including video viewing without lag ??? it has only 128 mb of ram and weak cpu 434 only so in daily and business usage would n97 mini lag or it works seemlessly

i got the phone today only nd i think this the best phone nokia has ever made i have use n72 it is not good phone e71 is better than e72 nd e72 hangs lots of time

I have this device. Although is very good it has one huge disadvantage. It is not a good telephone. This is because it has very bad or no reception at areas where the signal is weak. For example in areas that my previous 2 phones have two or three lines of signal reception, the N97mini has either zero or one. This makes it very unreliable as a phone. In this unreliabity we should add and the just one day battery stamina. The previous to my previous phone was the sonyericsson P1i. That phone was just superb! 5 days battery (with a lot of use) and reception everywhere.I still keep it as a third phone and where reliability is the issue.
