kelvin80, 23 Nov 2009tested this phone out at the shop today. i have to say, it ... moreI got mine 3 weeks back. It worked fine in te first week. After that, it started hanging very often especially when you start placing online widgets in the start screen i.e. bloomberg, apmobile etc.
besides, when you suddenly switch to the keypad mode after a while, it freezez and the screen goes blank. Also lcd looks like very distorted and have to remove battery to restart. Very suprised that this issue is predominant in n97 mini. on the n97, there were moe h/w issues. I also think some of the apps from Ovi Store are buggy and could be causing this to crash.
Forget Nokia folks, start moving to Sony Ericsson and Samsung. They are far better. Selling my unit off asap. My vote goes for Satio, Omnia HD and Xpreria X2.

i wish nokia would put 32gb instead of the 8gb, now i dont know whether to buy this or the n97

its funny here in the philippines how they priced this phone and the n97 because the difference is only 1thousand pesos... around $22

tested this phone out at the shop today. i have to say, it was much better than i expected after reading all the comments regarding this phone. it didn't lag much, screen was sensitive enough, and it was overall a pleasant experience. will probably be getting this phone in a couple of weeks time. only 1 question though, how do the owners of this phone find the battery life? i have read a few comments here that the battery can barely last the day. is that really true? hope u guys can give some helpful opinions.

hello everyone! i've been saving for this phone and is planning to go for it this Christmas. There is just 1 thing that confuses me, is this phone noticeably slower than the original n97? and one more thing, why is the price difference of the two units so little despite of the fact that the original packs a lot of advantage over the mini? (32gb, fm transmitter) i only liked the mini more because of its better portability.

One thing I've noticed that the kinetic scrolling on this phone is not good. if you look closely..once you flick it, the whole page doesn't run in unison. there's a column that's lagging. Nokia should abandon 5th Ed (touch) and go Maemo in full blast.
