For the person in doubt which one to buy, the best tip is... buy the cheaper one...
This phone is just a useless addition imo... who needs it? Someone who likes n97 certainly won't be turned down by size...

But look at E72 if you are not a touch screen freak. Available @ US$ 570. It has a faster processor, better battery life and many other good features.

N97 has an outstanding camera. I am a keen photographer, who still has a full SLR kit with 3 lenses, dedicated flash etc. But for the last 2 years I've just used my N95. Amd other keen photographers are amazed by the quality of my photos. Not sure what planet Tom Rees is on, but it aint the same one as me! (Also N97 does have image stabiliser for video.)

If i am one of the n97mini nokia hardware team
I would suggest capacitie on mini, 600mhz and 192ram, make it unique than it's brother
waiting fo next symbian flagship, will it use 434mhz again?
Next iPhone use the same design again?

Have a handon with mini today
keypad button material is not better than that on original
screen is small for web browsing
it is just pocket friendly
and bigger phone memory
Original is better and cheaper if you buy unlocked one

When I switched it back on in the morning but just before the phone alarm went off, the phone would hang at the security code after I keyed in the PIN. Happened to me twice. Looks like a program bug to me.

The N97 mini is actually a bit more expensive then the normal one. I work in a phonestore and i have used them both. The normal N97 is really plastic and the mini is a bit more solid. I prefer the mini bigtime
