The N97 mini is actually a bit more expensive then the normal one. I work in a phonestore and i have used them both. The normal N97 is really plastic and the mini is a bit more solid. I prefer the mini bigtime

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2009are the speakers crap like the n97 originalAre the speakers crap? They're better than my LG viewty but worse than my SE walkman w810i. In general, the phone is a lot louder than my viewty.

mike, 09 Nov 2009Hi, nice to hear that you´ve got a n97 mini. How´s the gps?... moreThe N97 mini acquires the satellite signals reasonably fast even in my car which has V-cool coatings. In contrast I need to wind down my window and put out my regular GPS device for it to acquire its signals.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2009does anybody know if the N97 Mini has any software faults. ... moreWhen I touch an icon (say A), another icon (say B) was highlighted and the funny thing is the B icon is temporarily replaced by A and the screen shows 2 A's. I think it might be a bug there. Also, I have problems connecting through WLAN if I turned off the phone GSM connection.

Does the N97 mini has kinetic scrolling on its entire UI?

If there is 1500mah or more battery power in the same form factor for this mini, it would be great

mugen battery has 1800mah for n97 classic without changing the original back cover!!!!
iSync and mulitmedia tranfering for mac are avalable for classic. But not mini yet
                      classic one has Len cover
mini has much bigger c storage
classic is cheaper than unlocked mini by Singapore dollar 60!:)

                      go for classic one!!!!

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2009If the camera Len and dual led Len are scratch-proof ... moreIs the lens scratch proof? No more than any other phone I think. If you keep it in your pocket with keys/coins, it will probably get scratched. I keep mine in a separate pocket, or in a soft case I bought for £4. I would do that anyway because the face will get scratched without it.

Its a great phone. Slim, Sexy, attractive and good user response. Much better than the n97 unless if u r looking for more memory and want to hold a solid brick phone. Both are great devices.
