i have recently bought a nokia n97mini and its really one of the most stylish mobile phone in the market available today.the soung quality is very good and the phone is installed with pretty cool applications.the camera again is a good one with carl zeiss optics.overall its a very good phone and a stylish phone one can have.

1st: it's heavy & u can't use it easily while working
2nd: it doesn't keep your memory card folders as u formate them
3rd: it's veryyyyyy complicated when u connect it to pc
4th: after a while (nearly 2 monthes) it won't work properly fom while to another & u should restart it
the good things in it are, its WLAN and net connection & its video pure image (the camera & the video are soooo good)

nice try from nokia..
pros:-
side tilted screen
nice resolution
good camera
symbian v5 is faster
good calling clarity
nice network reception
faster net browsing
qwerty keyboard
cons:-
no amoled resistive screen
slow loud speaker sound while listening song
no fm transmitter
no divx support
after reduction of price there is no tv out(18300)
average battery life
overall i will suggest this is a nice phone.. the price is 18100. i will give 3 star (***) out of *****

For those who are facing battery problems
How to Improve Battery Life on Nokia N97 Mini to follow these few simple tips to save battery :
* Hold the menu button for few seconds to close apps.
* Close all applications which are not being used.
* Click on “Back Arrow” button on the keypad.
* Now Exit the application.
* Keep your BlueTooth Off.
* Keep the WLAN Scanning Off.
* To Turn of automatic scan, Follow This :
* Go to Settings – Connectivity-WLAN-Options
* Then Settings-Show WLAN Availability-Select “Never”
* Keep the home-screen applications offline mode.
* Go to Options-Content to offline mode.
* Thus saves power :
* Keep the screen brightness low
* Keep minimum turn on light time

I am going to buy this cell in september.
Just... morefirst update the firmware to the latest version, give it a hard-reset and format the mass memory.
then put as much of the storage on the mass memory, so place messages/email on E: in stead of C:, also for images and videos, set the camera to store them on mass memory. oh, and close all applications after using them, don't use the red hang-up key.

i have been a regular user of nokia brand. recently i purchased N 97 mini from reliance digital in bangalore. features wise n spec wise the phone was very good. however hands-on experience proved to be other way round.a real nightmare. this model has the worst ever battery life. doesnt last for half a day also. coupled with it, it had a problem of power recycling.the phone would get switched off n would re start again on its own while being used. the problem persisted even after software was upgraded.even nokia care couldnt fix the problem. it has been reliably learnt that this is an inherent problem with this model. now i have returned the handset and demanded for a replacement. i only wish the new handset behaves properly.
can anybody using this phone give me a realistic feedback about this model. whats the use of so many features and investing so much of money when the phone is physically not available for use? i suggest that the company looks into these problems at the earliest. highly not recommended for buyers.

The phone is a nightmare to get to connect to an xp system pc. phone parent problem comes up all the time. have tried many times to install but cannot. other than that its not too bad as a phone.

My only complain is the battery. It's run out so fast,especially if u go online. In this price,the features is complete. I bought this phone primary coz it's design n i got both touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard in one phone. The tilt slider look so good,when typing like type on mini laptop.
