guys pleas help me out here cuz i wanna buy dis mobile (N-GAGEQD)
but i need to ask some questions first:

1)is the screen quality is good as in the nokia 7610 or is it really bad incompare with 7610???

2)is the mp3 comes in stereo or mono (what is hi-fi stereo) and if it comes in mono is it posible to make the quality better by downloadin a program?

I have recently purchased NGage QD
I have some queries and i request you to answer them..
I want to know...
1. whether I can apply the themes that are in N6600,N7610 etc. Any software to do this..?
2. whether i can play MP3 as incoming ringtones?
If not , then what do you think is the probable solution ..?
Can I play .AAC ringtones as incoming tones..? Are any converters available on Internet. If yes, then where...?
3. What are the softwares that you recommend?
4. I am confused as to which memory card to purchase?
People say either go in for 128 or 512MB and the Nokia dealer says 256 is the best for QD.
What is your take on this..?
5. Whether I can have FM on QD..?
6. Whatever softwares you think is good ...please send it to me. Send SmartLauncher if you have it..

is the mp3 quality of the ultramp3 program good enough at least does it sound like mp3s on the 7600 cuz right now i have the 7600 and as a mobile it one of the best it only lakes memory but qd is a lot more better and thats y i wanna buy it but the most important thing is the mp3 quality good or should i convert my songs to another format like ogg and stuff to make it a better quality?????
and what about the themes i heard that its possible to install a prog on the mobile so it will be able to use themes is that possible and how can i make these themes??

Yo Amir,if u dun interested in camera,y dun u choose n-gage qd?qd is the best mp3 gaming smart phone,it also can install many softwear dat same with 6600,(except those softwear for camera)n it also hav HOT SWAP dat allow u change memory card a.s.a.p(as soon as possible)n its 4096 colour is the most clearest colour if u compare with other 4096 colour phone.so,wat do u think now?buy qd la!!!no regerts!!!qd is the cheapest n great smart phone!!!welcome to the qd geng!!!

do you think i should buy the n-gage QD or the nokia 6600 im not so intrested in the camera but as if which one looks better and is the screen disaply manly is the same its like you cant notice the difference in the 4096 and the 65000????
is it worth buying (N-GAGE QD)>????

I agree wit what Mr QD n QD Freak said. Indeed QD and n-gage themself is d cheapest symbian OS n support mmc smartphone. No douth that they both have same advantages at this point. Camara phone is cool but the most they have support is 2 megapixel wit memeory (although some phone have 5 or more megepixel but couldn't support memory card and it is not symbian)it is really a poor quality n most of d users seldom use this features, unlike games! Think of the variety game we have in the market plus you can play multiplayer though bluetooth or online! It is not that all, wit tis cheapest prize we could install lots of software n is almost equally to 7610 (exclude the camara related software) To me many of my friend envy me of having QD although themself having 7610, 6600, 3660 because can play all n-gage game n d software can b install to add more feature but more importantly at the cheapest prize, who care about the camara phone, a digital camara with 3 megapixel plus a QD is cheaper than a 7610!
Talking about n-gage and QD, n-gage have more function than QD, it was a fact... I regret for buying QD at first since I like d features so much like d radio, stereo haeaphone more importantly wires that could connect device to PC or device to speaker! But later my n-gage friend start to complain the battery life..hehe imagine that we listen to MP3 for about 8 hours I still have 3/4 battery life and he need to recharge by then. Eventhough features many but too little battery life make them furious.
By the way does anyone know how to install a file that is around 1.1MB as my free memory in my device have only 2.2MB? Tq for your support.

To Gravis: Hi.. The only way to run those big files that u got is by coping it to your e drive - the memory card drive. CUT the files that was copied by the symbian os software at the c:\nokia\installs folder using the Fexplorer program. Then paste it to the e:\ directory. Run the Manager from the tools folder of the fone at the phone menu, and install the file.. All done.. Have fun!!!

Thank u for the comments Mr.QD. It is the cheapest smart fone round at that price now. For those who wouldn't get it now, then be ready for the QD to never be yours once u decided to buy it only next year. Get it now. IN the end you buy an expensive smartfones with the camera but you will never be satisfied once a new model arrives and on an on. Forget nokia fones like 7610 they can't play n-gage games and they are weird not recommended to play games due to their poor keypads. And lots of my frens having camera fones told me that they rarely make use of the camera.. Only good when hanging round a shopping mall :) haha.. And btw, the classic n-gage is not that good coz its got very short time of gameplaying though it have a radio and stereo speaker.. And PSP console and games is very expensive to have.. Get the qd now!! Its not about the cool devices (Camera, 3G,etc). Its about using the symbian os to the max!! It can be done.. So many forum and tutorial round the net to get help. What is your firmware version Mr.QD? Mine is 4.10

OMG have a cry all of you seriously, if you dont like the n-gage QD then sell, or just stop crying, every phone has its up and downs, who cares that it dosent have an mp3 player, just download one, who cares about it only having 4k colours big deal, pictures come out clear as on it, you want a camera? by a digital camera... duh!!!! I have never liked nokia but i picked up my n-gage QD brand new for australin $200, and the faetures it has and programs and games you can get is far better then any other phone in its price ranger, if you want a phone with all the latest gadgets so you dont have to cry, go spend $500 plus on a phone with those gadgets rather than knocking the QD, like i said every phone has its fown side, the QD is the best looking phone, unique, it can have programs such as mp3 players, movie players, adobe acrobat reader, microsoft word reader,FExplorer and many other programs can be downloadd for free you just have to look, ive got 33 games installed on my QD they were free to download and are not crap games but are quiet good actually, so if you gona go knocking it we dont wan hear it!! i give it 9/10

Hey I think there's no option available for N-Gage. This is really a great phone. The graphics of the phone is really a breath taking one. I have recently bought this phone. It's really worth to invest. But I had heard that this phone is having MP3 Player and FM Radio and Ringtones in MP3 and other formats. I am not able to find these all features on my phone. Please someone guide on this also tell me the softwares required for all these things, if any. Please mail me on amit_jd@yahoo.com.

come on guys this cellphone is better, it doesnt just have polyphonic an monophonic ringtones it has mp3 and aac.
