So various java apps for mobile may be downloaded and installed as well. I have downloaded Nimbuz and Snaptu, which is an excellent application for various worldwide news, sports, photos, weather, entertainment and etc etc etc... AND IT IS RUNNING IN X2 VERY WELL! I and like me, many of the technology-interested persons LOVE NOKIA, coz thousands of apps are available to be installed no Nokia phones! Ya both true for S60 and S40. Just go to 'www.getjar.com' from ur PC, select your phone as nokia X2, get a number of apps there. U can also go to 'm.getjar.com' from your mobile phone directly which is the WAP version of the getjar site, and your phone will be automatically identified as X2, and apps thats are available for X2 will be displayed. Then Its your turn to choice and download!

-conversational sms view is good
-camera without flash is ok, thogh photos lack the crispness u would find even in 2005 autofocus 2mp cameras like SE K750i
-software bugs r there
-memory card causes trouble once in a while
-sound quality good,volume in headphones is a bit low
-speakers not good for music
-overall interface is very good
-call and signal no problems
-battery is good

anoob, 20 Oct 2010hey guys.i hav reading all these reviews for months...daily... moreDear you can buy without thinking. All the problems associated with X2 are over now. Its an excellent phone for its price. Manas the Genius had clarified all doubts about it. X2 music is unbeatable camera good for its price. I my self own X2. I take outdoor snaps with X2 with light source behind me. This method helps me in getting great snaps with X2. We had recently gone to Nahargarh Fort on Sunday morning. I clicked various snaps of the beautiful green valley of nahargarh and its fort plus jalmahal with my nokia X2. Most of the snaps were quite good and i got print of them at color lab. Now i will take trial of its video camera by recording train journey through famous Sambhar lake.

Confuse about camera quality of X2? Just go to: http://xenonmobile.blogspot.com/2010/09/battle-nokia-x6-vs-nokia-x2-image.html and see it yoursef, then decide! Plz keep i mind another thing about photography,that- mobile camera is not the weapon for good photography(then who'll need a DSLR?) and photography depends on personal efficiency, atmospheric light, composition etc. But if U need an USABLE snapper for day to day outdoor shots, X2 will not disappoint you!

I just want to... moreThnx Chamanlal for Ur interest, but Sorry I couldnot assure you about this matter, as I didn't try this yet. I can only say that, as it is a S40 set, there are only Java apps which can not handle big file size efficiently, and may eventually crash! I shall try to download big mp4 or 3gp file by using opera mini5, through my BSNL gprs, and if I succeed, I'll definitely let U know, Thnx, best of luck!!

Sayak, 20 Oct 2010Hi Manas,thanks for your detailed information.Its very help... moreDear sayak, thnx for interest, i have used 2MP camera of the E51, which is not good at all, but other mobiles having a 2MP cam may take good pics. If U are interested in high quality pics, then dont depend on mobile cameras, instead get a low end digital camera, and it will give you much better photo! I can assure you daylight shot(of distance, i.e. focus @ infinity, as the X2 has no autofocus) of Nokia X2 gives much better photos than my old E51 2MP camera, even someone has compared the pic quality of X2 with X6, which have a much better camera than X2! If you want sample photos, check this out- http://xenonmobile.blogspot.com/2010/09/battle-nokia-x6-vs-nokia-x2-image.html and regarding battery and talktime I couldnot give U details, sorry, coz I've not used X2 for a long time, but only I can say that, the battery lasts for about 3 days after a few call, an hour of music playback, and some net browsing, I THINK NOT SO BAD FOR A 860mAH battery! It takes a little more time to recharge fully than normal handsets. Market price? I've bought it from a remote town of West bengal on 10/10/2010 at Rs.5750/- U may get it at less, if U are an expert in bargaining:-) Dont think much, JUST GO AND GET THE SEXY X2! Best of Luck!

i am purchase one x2 mobile but not satisfiy. regarding no vedeio recording this phone. recording only 0.5seconds & head phone sound is very less.realy iam feeling very.

nokia x2 is awesome mobile ....all can take this cell...price is also cheap and 5 mp camera...

Itz good but the camera doesnt seem like 5MP . Nd nt having better batery back up , as nokia X6, 6303i have.
