Sin, 15 Jan 2023cool too see improvement on the software on the nokia phone... moreWell, if you trust such companies, glad you find it good. But specs are nothing especially at this no name low priced devices. Hope it lasts and you get some support, two things more important then specs when you do not have money to waste.

A quick glance on the specs and then the price makes this device looks slightly overpriced. The design looks solid and unique (not like swarm of phones from other manufacturers) but surely a 400€+ price tag for the specs mentioned is a major turn off.

EDIT: 3 OS upgrades is definitely a big plus here.

The phone has everything you need, good mobile device I like it very much. I hope Google improves to have a bit more customization like other UX have. Android ONE is good but just a bit more customization is appreciated for example now on iOS you an even customise lock screen more than Android.
Other than that this phone is a must have. Premium build and good software support and pure quality.

This company literally only survives because its licensing the Nokia name lmfao. Selling $200 phones for $400. The power of marketing never ceases to amaze me.

To be precise, I am done with GSMarena because, I feel that there is no point in writing things here. I feel that I am wasting my time being here, because nothing can be changed. Now, this GSMarena's space is all yours and I assure you that I will not annoy you anymore. Good luck.

Swaraj7, 10 Dec 2022European countries are different ,there everyone gets equa... moreActually, only a few European countries are rich enough to afford a smarphone from one income. So not everything is bells and whistles here. The comparison would be legit. Where i come from, the smartphones are as pricey as in all western contries but the wages are on avarage somewhere between 250 and 500 euros, while there are no where near so many smartphones offerings as in India. Anyways, people should stop beeing fooled by chinese manufacturers and their disposible devices, nothing that comes that cheap is as good as specs may seem, absolutly nothing. Maybe some people that never used a good device might think otherwise, but that's about it and they will quickly change their minds when they actually reach on to better devices. I see it this way, if you can't afford a device, have patience till price drop, in the meantime put some small amonts of money away until you can afford it or just buy something with lesser specs and more sustainable. For people who can't afford to waste money, sustainable is the only way they should go. Running after sd888 with 200 euros is just mocking to oneself also, the trend is forcing manufacturares to go cheaper and cheaper, thing that canibalises innovation, quality and the most important, the wages of an employe. We are actually already there, almost at the buttom of the barel, there is still time to stop the trend and revert to something healthier. But who cares as long as xiaomi crapmi 3000 is on shelves for 200 yeni...

Fas... morelet's just say 120 w charging is for a specific group of consumer. when did i say refresh rate is related to screen size .if high refresh rate didn't cost battery then why most phones turn down refresh rate when you turn on battery saver ? if it doesn't demand more gpu power then why most budget phones Don't run games above 50-60 fps ??

mobile games use open GL and direct X just like pc games . you might be true about that i am not a video game artist ( about optimisation). Steam deck definitely didn't use 720p panel for cost concerns . even 100 dollar cheap Chinese phones have 1080p display . how much more could it cost ?

for a mobile igpu it is much easier to render frames in 720p panel than on a 1080p that's common knowledge . phones like mi a2 , samsung a42 5g , nokia 5.3 shipped 720p panel Whereas the soc in them was almost overkill . why ? because they are intended for gaming . one can not argue with someone who has already made a judgement and to brittle to bend and admit he's wrong . so i will no longer reply you .

Swaraj, 04 Jan 2023battery under 4500mah but charging cycle is above 800 cycle... moreThe amount of stupidity in your comment is BAFFLING.

Fast charging is provided by so many major brands, not just Chinese ones and it's reaching mainstream status because it's a useful feature that has a practical use case. No one wants to charge a 4500 mAh battery with a 30W charger and wait for 2 hours for it to charge, and the alternative is to use the phone while it charges which harms the batter far more than fast charging.

120 Hz is FAR from being a gimmick. Any normal person (excludes you, by definition) can tell the difference on any screen size because the refresh rate is NOT related to the resolution nor the physical size of the screen. It's embarrassing that you legitimately don't know that, and yet dare to comment on a tech forum.

And your comparison with the Steak Deck is downright STUPID. That device is supposed to run PC games, not mobile games. I won't be surprised if you don't know the difference, so I'll also have to explain this generic piece of information to you unfortunately. Development is not the same on those platforms, and thus the code and graphical resources are not the same. Not to mention the biggest difference which is the fact that mobile developers build and most importantly OPTIMIZE their apps and games exclusively to work on mobile SoCs while Valve built a device to run already existing PC games that are heavier.

I already mentioned this, but refresh rate doesn't have much to do with the resolution/size of the display unless you're trying to run 4K@120 playback on a Celeron. The reason the Steam Deck uses a low res, low refresh rate panel is not just the fact that the custom AMD APU isn't powerful enough to run fully fledged PC titles, but most importantly the COST of the product. If they went for a 120Hz 1080p OLED panel then the Steam Deck would've cost a lot more, and would've lost meaning since better PC hardware would be available for less.
