I can't delete Google as I need use apps that relay on it but I have tried a lot of suggestions

The androidgo Nokia c01 plus was supposed to be smoothly because of optimization yet it's runs truely terrible and bad

Generic phone with 1gb ram on older versions of android do runs better as apps stay open

In general I had better experience with older versions of android the later version of android really do have higher than normal system requirements

I have looked at the display models of google pixel and Nokia and a few other popular brands

google pixel the software on them is horrible it's shocking how bad there software is on them
The terrible gesture navigation system on google pixel and there so buggy as well it's a deal breaker I really can't stand software problems

Am unsure if I want another Nokia phone the battery life is excellent but i didn't like all the bloatware that is on them

Motorola I know Lenovo owns this brand possiblity get a Lenovo phone

        Yotaphone 2

Although it's lasted me many years it's aged painfully badly the os updates from android 4 too android 6 where very important but it come at a huge difference too smoothness

apps have also gotten heavyer and don't run as smoothly as they used too and the phone overheats often that doesn't help either

Used be able too play heavy games for short time but does have overheating problems but also even it has problems now with games closing themselves very often mid game kicking me back to the home screen

Carol, 23 Jan 2023Well, if you want something to hold for longer and be smoot... moreThe £130 pound is my mum's hotwav cyber 9 pro phone is rather smooth perform outstanding for it's price tag

But my Nokia smartphones Nokia 3.1 & c01 plus my dayly driver slow with performance problems

Nokia 3.1 a smartphone I really like it's but sadly am overdue for a new smartphone already

Storage limitations on Nokia 3.1 are a nightmare as all my storage is filled up by os updates and freezing up is often and so often Sutter's freezes lags just isn't smooth

The Nokia c01 plus is so much worse performance is so bad and is so much frustration as the browser keeps closing it's self and kicking me back to the home screen and everything takes ages too load this smartphone can barely even do the basics

I do play a mixture of games I have been lied too by game developer about minimum system requirements lies some games are completely unplayable after game updates as a result high ram usage making the game close it's self and kicking me back to the home screen

Games that claim they run on 1gb ram can't be played at all is a lie

Games that claim they run on 2gb ram updates are making them unplayable

Did run good enough on 2gb ram but after 6 mouths the games now have glow bigger and are using more ram making and high ram usage spikes making freezing up or worsened of all kicked out back too home screen mid game

Sin, 23 Jan 2023Yes we are into gaming some of us more then others and but ... moreWell, if you want something to hold for longer and be smooth enough for years to come, you need to stop wasting money on low end phones, and give out at least 250£ for a device, that is the bare minimum for a smartphone good enough. With those money you can buy a pixel 6a, or nokia x20 with lesser, with even lesser the x10, if i'm not mistaking, or an Motorola don't know the model, but at the price will for sure be better then an 130£ chinaware. I mean, low end to very low end smartphones are only made for social media, calling, and very light gaming. Browsing, maybe, but very light browsing, like use firefox klar, or duckduckgo browser, they are very lightweight and fast. Also with such devices there is a need of lighweight gallery, Call app, Conta ts app, messaging app and launcher, also very important lightweight keyboard. Search for simple apps i store and openBoard for keyboard, unlock developers menu and reduce animation, to 0.5. Delete google apps. ADB is your friend for that.

Carol, 21 Jan 2023Never had a nokia slowing down from updates, you're ta... moreYes we are into gaming some of us more then others and but mostly only games like Cindy crash Saga angry birds and among us

The smartphone we have struggle especially the Nokia phones in Cindy crash

but even if you're not interested in gaming performance should still be a top priority

The difference in day too day usage is huge when a page loads that little bit faster or you can open few more browser tabs and so on it makes a smartphone so much better too use

The user experience and smoothness hasn't gotten too a point where much more performance isn't needed

This problem with Sutter lag and just not being smooth enough is so bad and so annoying

We safe up money longer just too be able to pay extra money for a smartphone as a budget smartphone can't even do the basics well

I have heard there is a point where performance is good enough but we are not there yet

My complaints with software updates apply much more heavily too budget smartphones being slowed down as limited resources are available

but the experience I had with older flagships still has only been made worse by os updates but too a much lesser extent but some of the payed for additional premium smoothness was lost by os updates

I just woul... moreNever had a nokia slowing down from updates, you're talking bull... again. 4, 6 or 8 GB RAM is also quite enough for this devices. The only problem some might find is the cpu. While this few are mostly trolls that want 200 euros Flagships, so it is safe to ignore them.
I cannot find fault in the CPU ider, comming from a long line of only flagships, i see no real performance difference, even the gaming i always did, has no difference. There is tough one, the battery life, is great for me on x30. Comming back to gaming, i cannot talk about pubg and whutnut, cause i never waste time on my phone in that kind of way, i use it more for learning or changing the way it works, to make it best for my needs, automation mostly. Even x20 workt quite good and now with android 13 is as speedy as, i dare to say, a flagship when it comes to day to day experince, no lag, no significant delays, great call quality, great build and good camera. This phones are not gaming phones and do not need to play intesive games, for that there are other devices. For the normal usage and even intensive usage like 10 Hours nonstop usage, they remain cool and speedy, so for most people, this are great devices hands down. I can't see the point of having an flagship at this point, if you are not doing intensive gaming or install heavy processing apps like full adobe workshop or whatever huge demanding apps... that are quite crappy to work on, on a smartphone anyway...
So midragers came a long way, and they are really good this days.

Owned by hmd global wich is finnish.

I just would of thought the Finnish would of understand how important it is too win the hardware aims race and have the smoothest phone

Sad too see them so far behind there Chinese competition

but they are actively choosing too use lower amount of ram and lower end processor and smaller battery

(Battery and ram are not even expensive in manufacturing )

Then on top of that they forever widen the gab between them and there Chinese competitors

The software updates Nokia is actively slowing down there phones even more

some manufacturer like samsung give utmost importance to well being of their customers. their phones often come with low SAR ratings .

of course there are drawbacks to that but if you live in well connected places like cities , you should really go for low SAR rated phones

B... morei don't fully trust such Chinese companies but being limited by budget and needing a smartphone too be smooth for good user experience is big deal we also make sure too avoid phones with bloatware

The Nokia g10 was so slow and sluggish buggy and horrible too use it had too be replaced

This smartphone is genuine we had it for few mouths it really is good so much too like what hotwav has done here

i hope it lasts it is rugged and has huge 7500mah battery so it should last a long time
the hardware is good Mediatek p60 & 8gb ram is good

software support not too big of a worry it runs android 11 i think many of are problems are a result of android updates slowing down phones making them feel very dated too use

Sin, 15 Jan 2023cool too see improvement on the software on the nokia phone... moreWell, if you trust such companies, glad you find it good. But specs are nothing especially at this no name low priced devices. Hope it lasts and you get some support, two things more important then specs when you do not have money to waste.

A quick glance on the specs and then the price makes this device looks slightly overpriced. The design looks solid and unique (not like swarm of phones from other manufacturers) but surely a 400€+ price tag for the specs mentioned is a major turn off.

EDIT: 3 OS upgrades is definitely a big plus here.
