Yes I got my phone earlier than the expected 9 October what a great phone what a joy to use it! The phone feels good, you van feel the quality in your hands and it has a very good size too. The screen is very nice and the camera is also super good. I have the white colour it looks classy and the camera design is minimalistic which is a relief in the midst of all the humongous camera islands from competitors mainly Chinese brands. Yes this phone is absolutely fantastic I got a speaker for free because I pre ordered mine. Don't know what people are nagging about here but they certainly are trolls or they don't have a life. Recommended phone 100% sure.

Region is germany, but the language is english (u.s.a). I have this strangeness only in notification settings from this two apps i mentioned. I do not know what's wrong but i hope that will get fixed.

Carol, 01 Oct 2022Use pro mode, and lower light balance and iso, you will hav... moreThe camera issue is more the usual oversharpening and lack of resolved detail rather than auto-HDR settings lifting the shadows or overexposing, since HDR can be toggled off. I've not tested it fully so hopefully I'll get accustomed to any nuances, with other subjects such as objects or pets the camera does a great job and has a pleasant bokeh from the sensor.
I'm used to having a RAW workflow from using the 9 PureView, but that device had RAW files that are rarely surpassed on mobile even today.
No sign of Chinese in the app info on my device, which region/language are you using?

In my opinion the camera over-brightens the picture, that might be a fault of calibration. The lenses allow allot of light in, and the software ovecompensates for something that is not a problem. Well, my two cents for now, after 2 days of use. As for performance, well comming from nokia 9 is not that snappy, but as you said, it is quite good besides this transaction between apps. But minding the fact that my wifes nokia x20 has no problem with that, it is safe to say that this glitch can and will be fixed. What i have also notice, well at least in my device, is that in app info for Play Store app and Messages, in notifications segment, there are some settings in chinese, so not properly translated. But this are the only bugs i found till now, and it surprises me cause well, new devices always have a more annoying set of bugs. For now i like the device and it does feal premium in every way possible.

Which security update are you on? My device is still on July here in the UK, but others have said September.
And yes, the build quality and premium finish is the most noticeable thing about the X30 in person. In terms of in-hand feel and ergonomics it feels like a flagship device.
I've not spent much time with the cameras, my initial impression is that it is good for close-ups, objects and portraits, with a natural bokeh from the relatively large sensor and accurate colours and white balance. It also punches above it's weight in terms of night mode(s). I'm not as impressed with landscape or architecture shots as the resolved detail seems lacking, and the digital zoom is not great. I'll have to test the 50MP and RAW capture to get a better sense of the quality.

Got my X30 today throigh circular subscription. Nice build quality, feels premium. But the lag is noticable, more so than G60 which I have for a secondary phone. I would go as far to say that using the G60 is a nicer experience at the moment.

Hope it launches in India and launches at good price,
around 25-30k is a sweet spot in my opinion.
