wifi, 3g and battery only 860 mAH come on nokia whats thi... moreThe screen size is 2.4 inches, I hope that 860mAh are enough to make a FULL day with very intense use, at least. Nokia S40 6th Ed. is a mature OS and I suppose that is very well optimized, power consumption should be less of an issue.
But I must agree with you: I would be more happy if the battery was a 1000-1200 mAh.

Nokia X3-02 has a proprietary operating system (Nokia S40 6th Edition, Feature Pack 1 on X3-02) that won't let you develop native applications, but just Java ME (MIDP 2.1) that's good for this kind of phone with an alfanumeric keypad.
Nokia S40 is the most widely adopted OS in the world at the moment and, in my humble opinion, the most reliable.

this model will be a flop only for battery reasons.

Is it only Nokia that the economy has affected? See Samsung, Motorola - note the type of phones they are making: big, robust with good features. When will Nokia dominate the market again? I'm disappointed.

i would say this is best bet
5MP cam, wifi, blutooth, 3G, Touch screen most importantly it got keypad too price just around 7.5k INR(US$175)
only thing missing is GPS add that too and make around 9kINR
this is the best mobile after the nokias best ever mobile N82

I have tryed this phone 2 days ago (prototype)
its fast and responsive small and thin in size. the screen is very clear and large for the phones size.
the only thing i didnt like is that its not practical at all.. the keypad is not practical but i guess u can get used to it with a little time...
