I am planning to buy this call in next week. I have read all the revies and i saw all the youtube videos. I felt buying this is worth. But i am bit confused.
I am using N-73 presently. It has 3.2 mp,and x6 has 5 mp. But n73 having 20x zoom, this has 4x zoom, whether photo taken in this x6 will be good or not?
So Friends, if u know any thing about this issue, please let me know.

i had nokia x6 and this phone for me is very good.. camera takes a good photo, loud and clear sound.
highly recommended!!!! :D

Ashlin, 27 Aug 2010Can anybodt comment on watching Youtube and other online vi... moreall the phones have streaming settings ,take that and select the internet profile .you must use the internet profile like idea internet when using idea sim ,mobile office when using airtel , donot use airtel live or idea gprs . The main thing is that the setting you use for streaming doesnot have any proxy number . The proxy must turn off

First: Any and all updates made to devices are *always* at the discretion of the manufacturer. Symbian has *no* authority to mandate updates so we can't tell you either way. We do not have a roadmap for Nokia's firmware releases.
Second: Nokia are not in the habit of doing 'version' releases for devices. They do incremental updates, so you may see some features of Symbian^3 on the X6. This has happened lots of times before (demand paging on the N95, kinetic scrolling on the N97/Mini/5800)
Third: Even if it were Nokias policy to do upgrades like this, Symbian^3 is looking more and more like it depends on HW acceleration of graphics. The X6 does not have a graphics chip, and could never handle Symbian^3.
So the worst case scenario is that your X6 gets bug fixes and nothing more and you never see any Symbian^3 features. The most likely eventuality is that some of the most wanted features from Symbian^3 that the X6 is capable of supporting get backported. The pipe-dream is that Nokia retro-fit a graphics chip and a HDMI port into your X6 and you live happily ever after.

With the hardware specs not bumped up too much... I'm sure the Nokia X6 can also handle Symbian^3 OS. Even if it is a bit slow, I'm sure it should be able to handle the new Symbian OS... Now, will the Symbian^3 be on the net for downloads? It would be great to run the new OS on this phone and be able to do much more.
