For android there are crores and crores of applications available free of cost.. What about SYMBION??????????? I cant count with fingers.. For your symbion, Nokia has got OVI store which contains nonsense applications which none will ever use....... Nothing can beat Android in terms of applications.

* No mulitouch input in X7 whereas SE ARC has multitouch input
* Videos recording in X7 is 720*25 fps whereas in SE ARC its 720*30 fps
* RAM and CPU matters a lot..........Winner -SE ARC
* GSMARENA and the whole world has already compared Android and Symbion thousand times and given thousand reviews concluding that ANDROID is the BEST and SYMBION is OUTDATED.
* The camera features and display is so so good in SE ARC that editors/technical people of GSMARENA and other good websites are comparing SE ARC with IPHONE4...This one thing is more than enough to prove the standard of SE ARC..... Nokia never came in competition with Apple...
* Nokia X7 has got 4 speakers... Well SE ARC is doing best with one speaker... People are not going to use X7 as an alternate for Home theates. So forget highlighting that it has 4 speakers.
***X7 HAS NOT BEEN YET RELEASED IN MARKET .. SO LETS WAIT AND SEE THE DISADVANTAGES/CONS/WEAKNESS WHEN GSMARENA REVIEWS IT... SURE IT GONNA HAVE LOT OF FLAWS*****

technically there is no need for 1GHz on the handset, 680MHz is plainly ok since the Nokia OS is fast enough already.

X7 is probably the worst phone Nokia has ever announced. It's like an obsolete 2009 touchscreen phone. Features are uninspiring and specs are underpowered. It has only 2 speakers, the pair at the bottom. The other pair at the top is only a design to make it appear symmetrical. The 4-inch pixelated screen is not ClearBlack. Another addition to the fixed focus crap. No mass memory. No FM transmitter (It's supposed to be a music phone right?). There really is nothing special about this phone. C7 is way better.

X7 has got USB on the go
X7 has got 4 speakers
X7 has got 3G with 10.2mbps
X7 has got next generation bluetooth i.e 3.0
X7 has got Music playback of 50h!!!!
Drawbacks of arc
* it has poor viewing angles
* No front-facing camera which means no video call
* No smart dialing
* microSD card slot is not hot-swappable which means everytime you have to switch off and remove battery to change microSD
* Camera key isn’t particularly comfortable

And never mind about CPU and RAM, symbian OS is higly efficient and more stable than crappy android....
Symbian doesn't require 1 ghz processor with 512 mb ram.
And remember you cant carry a huge 4.2" screen in your pockets surely you will get holes in it lol 3.5" is more than enough.... and symbian anna is the latest version which covers all the drawbacks of symbian such as split screen and faster browser so u dont have to worry about updates this is going to kill android in comming months...:-D and remember in some months after the release its price goes down upto 17,000 which is much cheaper than crappy arc... and if you have some more money than go for N8 which arc cant compete even... it has got 12 mp cam with carl zeiss autofocus, hdmi port, usb on the go, solid aluminium body and everything which a mordern smartphone needs.... go for n8:-)

I can't wait! Good sar, great build quality and of course a fantastic design as nokia is used to!:) This is my next phone!:D

yes as compared to se arc this device is drawback!!why to stuck on old symbian ?as far the andriod is conceren you would feel like suger in the mouth!andriod has more then to much UI as compared to symbian and andriod is faster one...go for SE ARC

Just re: speakers. apparently there are only two speakers and the other two are just there for cosmetic purposes... (similar to c7).

when will ANNA COME TO N8?!?! (and the other devices T.T)

symbian doesn't need a 1ghz processor. it's efficient, have no issues with n8's speed. the only thin gyou'll get is a battery that drains faster (if u put in a 1ghz chip)...

Pls Dont Go for this phone.........Instead go for Xperia ARC..... This phone costs Rs.25,000... SE ARC costs 28,000
Arc has bigger and best display than X7.
Arc has greater RAM and Processor than X7.
ARc has excellent style than X7.
ARc has Bravia display which is far better than X7
ARc has Android Gingerbeard whereas Nokia sticks with the OUTDATED SYMBION (DOnt know why always go behind this symbion).. Android has more than 1 crore application and lot of greatest feature which you all people know so no need to explain that...
Its just a matter of 3 thousand rupees....So go for the best.......THat is ARC..... Think well.........

Although it was said that NOKIA will dump their SYMBIAN in a very future, I am very confident that they (NOKIA) maintain their symbian OS once they start producing good SYMBIAN phones with good consumer support.

Processor wise, it is just numbers. Some phones process faster with low processor. Some phone process slower with high processors? Agree?

NOKIA as an old user of nokia phones i will give you this advice and i think alot of nokia fans will agree with me . 1- make phone without good loudspeaker in loudness like E72 N8 E7 who till you that the people doesn't want loudspeakers like 5800 people like louder speakers here in middle east people still buy 5130 N95 N95 8G AND N73 Some under steres factors bring old used phones and change its cover and package it again and recell it again as a now phones . 2-Why you ignore 2 sim phone C 2 Doesnot make it to market till now sumsung make big profit with its dual sim phone and not to tell you about china phones and there huage market with price range lower than 50 $ US . 3- Why you ignore android cause it is apromsing os . 4- every new phone has defeact like no auto fouse camera low loudness loudspeaker without micro sd support . 5-you loses alot buy ignoreing take your user opinions in what they want in NOKIA NEW PHONES . Please gsmarena send this to nokia cause i donot know how and to who .
