8 mp fixed focus?????
A lower resolution(5 mp maybe) could be more accepted but with AUTOFOCUS! Nice phone but asking for a better camera!
Only NOKIA that had big megapixel camera with no autofokus! Wake up nokia,don't still dreaming, no need 2 doing that 2 push the production cost! Go nokia

nokia are way behind with operating systems. android will take over mobile phones. its only a matter of time.

Nokia is a already a lost cause as long as there are ios and Android powered phones out there. What's with the state-of-the-art hardware when u do not have access to the coolest softwares u can easily get on the rival operating sytems? This symbian thing is more of a joke in this day an age. Nokia, rest in peace ...

The design is actually good looking in my opinion.... I bet Apple won't dare to come up with these "oddly-shaped" phone. Phones such as N8 /E7 /X7 etc... The shape kinda reminds me of PSP which feels great to grip while gaming or viewing landscape

The only things that are wrong here is a bit on the design and the low screen res.
come on nokia! we understand the processor, ram, and fixed focus thing but screen res?
For people who don't understand; Fixed Focus is actually better than autofocus in most conditions other than macro. This means your photos would never be out of focus except when the subject is less than 50cm. Not sure with this tho.
And this new symbian os 3 is not laggy anymore than the previous ones. Processor is adequate and ram too. Although this may lag if you run a lot of apps at once.
Lastly, the design is hate-able.

Nokia have finally realise with the speakers on the N8,C7 an C6.01 have been placed in the wrong position,as you can not lay these phones down with the screen visible to you an still get full sound from the speakers,so you have to lay these phones with no screen visibilty to you to get full sound from these phones.o.k the N8 as a little camera rim but sound is still dim ,we want the speakers on the side like the 5800 an X6,so thats why the design of this phone looks odd to allow you to get full volume an still see the screen

How many units can Nokia come out with at once? None of them ever reach their full sales potential & the names are so confusing. This phone seems to be about watching media (screen size & speaker), but it's still pretty redundant. All at once, there's the N8, C7, C6-01, C6. Who can keep up with all of these, seemingly meaningless, coded names? We all know the iPhone and the progression to the iPhone 4. Nokia just confuses us and doesn't allow any of their high-end units to reach sales potential.
