Hitler, 07 Aug 2021Why Nokia Not Put Snapdragon 778G or 780G on this Phone ?I Know right im not a fan of the snapdragon 400 series either. The original 400 was very slow and in fact not even a quad core just a dual core running at 1.3ghz not great. The 435 wich I have tested has quite bad battery saving and gets hot and is also unstable most of the time 480? No idea a 700 series could have been a much better option anyway for Nokia

I got one from Nokia shop and the phone feels fine in the hand.I like IT.
It feels not so big in the hand and is a little bit faster than mine Nokia 8.3. Camera is better on Nokia 8.3. quality is good on Nokia xr20

People never appreciate the cause a device serves but asks for other things to deviate.

It's like asking why dog don't have big neck like giraffe.

It excels it's purpose and by the way ticks all areas functional.

People always wants something extra. When that extra is satisfied that will need another extra. All these days people whining about what happened to old quality of hardware. Now they are back. Even in old days Nokia didn't use top end hardware but make out good results out of what they install in a device.

Joseph, 03 Aug 2021Why did they fail they buy the Nokia's factory in Viet... moreThat would mean a lot more investment then they can put out, they need support, a lot of it, to be able to come back in a way a lot of it's old fans await. Well if hmd come out good, they will most probably merge into NOKIA again, but they need something new. Mobile devices are already the basics and not the new.

I don't care about processer, for that price at least they could put removable batteries and amoled screen as it consume less power

Carol, 02 Aug 2021Nokia was never taken oven by nobody, they also were never ... moreVery well said.

Nokia has become almost non-existent in our country, which is a pity. Nokia no more signify quality or craftsmanship or quality to me, at least after seeing the low end models available in our country.

I am still holding on to my beloved Nokia 7 Plus & Nokia 6.1 from 2018. I know phone's of this caliber will hardly be ever made, even by Nokia owned HMD.

Saiprasad, 04 Aug 2021Why Nokia will not have Amoled display. ? Rest all are good Mostly because of endurance. Amoleds are expensive, and amoleds at this price range are no match to IPS LCD"s

Carol, 02 Aug 2021Nokia was never taken oven by nobody, they also were never ... moreWhy did they fail they buy the Nokia's factory in Vietnam when Microsoft wanted to sell it?!If they didn't have money to build a new factory, they ought to have e bought that factory from Microsoft. They failed to do that and eventually bought by Foxxcon.
                        HMD needs their own factory.

For me the must interesting feature is the strength and solidity of phone.
I am not a player and not a social activist. I need a phone for work and to be reachable in the middle of Swiss Alps or on a Italian remote countryside.
I will wait to find it "used" from Amazon Warehouse and/or on Idealo website.
The best prices are on German, Italian and French market for those who can receive in these countries.
Question: how long is the life of this phone? The battery in particular.
                          Thank you for your advice.

I play casual games like Clash of Clans and Soccer Stars, So I don’t need a SD888 chipset. It’s a perfect phone for me with a gurantee of 3 years. Switching to a new phone is really hassle.... Nokia is coming back in game

Miso Poi, 01 Aug 2021Nokia is a Finland-based company that was taken over by HMD... moreNokia was never taken oven by nobody, they also were never gone out of the market and their name was never bought by nobody. hmd is licesing Nokia name, design and technology to build their devices. Nokia ownes about 10% hmd shares. That is why you can see hmd nokia devices also being sold on Nokia original site. After Nokia sold the mobile devices devision to microsoft, they were mostly working on enterprise grade network appliances, network developement and mobile network developement and so on. Pretty much nothing for the private customer, everything enterprise and developement. Microsoft bought lumia name, name that was not allowed to be used by nokia after the contract closed. Hmd is not nokia as a company they are two separated companies runned by two different CEO's and board of directors, but hmd is a sister company to nokia, and follows the values of the finish company. Their biggest problem? No money for building their own manufacturing factories, and even if they had, would be dumb for them to start to invest in such things, they are way to small for such big actions. They need to invest more in reaserch and developement. P.S this comment is not ony addressed to you, as here were more comments that are not quite right.
