The screen is capable of handling the higher brightness but the software is holding it at the lower rate. I agree with you that it looks a little dull as a result of that decision.

After using this phone few days
PRO
(1) Different design and concept of led lights which is attractive . People will notice this phone
(2) Software support update is good . Ui is different pure android experience .
CON
(1) Phone feel sluggish
Performance is not upto the mark.
(2) Camera is Avg. U need to work hard to get perfect photos . U will feel shutter lagg when compare to competitor in this segment.
(3) display feel dull. If you had samsung amoled or iphone in past you will not like nothing phone display.

It’s pointless design . Who will put the phone upside down all the time just to look at the LEDs ? Carl should have thought of this one better. Also the name doesn’t rhyme . What is this phone ? … “Nothing” . I beg your pardon ? … “It’s Nothing” … ok keep your secrets . Get the idea ?

Aman Bisht , 15 Apr 2023When we are recording in front camera still the red light b... moreWith the camera ON go to settings which is the cog icon on the top right of the screen and you will see a switch named Recording Light Indicator at the bottom. Just turn it OFF. If you can not see the Settings cog just tap the V shape at the top of the screen. It really is that easy.

Here the phone works flawlessly under all aspects.nd It doesn't cost a fortune. Very quick UI,battery very good
