is huawei band 8 compatible with this phone? i cannot seem to enable notifications in np1 device & app notifications. any work around on this?

The speakers are the weakest feature of NP1 in my opinion.

Placing the front-facing camera in the middle of Phone (2) destroyed the design aesthetics and philosophy of Nothing. I think the Phone (2) would look better if it had the same front camera placement as the Phone (1).

This might be one of the most unoptamized phones I've ever used. It's a great phone but it needs more optimization updates.
Build quality is excellent, wireless charging is great, although I've had problems using my own wireless chargers, the position of the wireless charging coils are higher than on other phones.
The glyphs are still a gimmick, I've had this phone for 1 year one and it still feels like a gimmick, and I just can't get used to it, and I have it off almost basically all the time to conserve battery.
My problems start with the bad state the software is right now, and how bad the battery life has been.
My problems with software all come down to optimization.
I have the 8gb version of the phone, and have only essential apps (no games, only 3 social media apps), I've also deleted all the Nothing bloatware and Google apps I didn't need.
Still this phone cannot keep anything in memory for more than 5 minutes, I close a app and open another, then when I go back to the previous app it restarts, this shows lack of optimization or lack of power from the CPU, I suspect it's lack of optimization. Hopefully they correct this issue with a future update.
Now for battery life, I don't have it as bad as others who complain about battery, but the battery life is disappointing. But how can my previous phone with a smaller battery and more power hungry CPU (and 2 years of ussage) get superior battery life than the Nothing.
To get the same battrty life with the Nothing, I have to turn off the glyphs and have the screen running at 60hz.
I suspect that it is a lack of optimization again.
To end it all, is that being a Nothing Phone 1 user is like being a Beta tester, the phone feels like a Beta product, and now that Phone 2 is out, we are even ignored when it comes to new futures that could totally back ported to Phone 1.

I have 2 Nothing Phone 1 devices and neither have bad battery life. One is on Android 13 and the other is Android 14.

Been using my Nothing Phone 1 , it's been more than a year since newly purchased. I have got to say, whatever the issues were during the early days of using, they have been fixed and improvements are done here and there after all the recent updates. Couldn't be more happier . Looking at the specs I wasn't really digging it but man, the quality , just feels a lot premium , user experience etc. My previous phones were Vivo x70 pro, and iphone 13. For me ,Nothing is something else. Just bonded with me . Not "just another phone".

I always got 6.5/7h sot without gaming. But with gaming like codm br, I have managed to get 4/5h sot with playing like 3hs constantly. Now I updated my phone to 2.0.5 version. And It's running like a buttery smooth. Though I've not satisfied with its camera performance very much. Its so so.

Dear , I have Nothing 1 and its old only 1 month but the Battery performance is poor, as add it endurance hours are 107 but in actual less than 70 Hours. so anyone can guide me please
