The phone has a software issue, not just mine, they all have the same issue. What is happenig after you take a picture , you can see it but if you try sharing it on social media, etc it doesn`t appear, so you can`t do it. Spoke to Nothing and they said they will look into the matter but not given a time frame as in when they will fix it or aim to fix it by. The best part is that they offered me a cap, a sticker or an umbrella for the inconvenience. I mean...that is great customer service , right?! I am talking about the top phone they sell Nothing Phone 2. So, yes, this is my experience with them. Considering the price , I would`t bother with that company. Is not like you buy a cheap phone and have no expectations these phones cost 650 pounds.

Can you see them flash when the phone is in your pocket? NO. Can you see them when you are holding the phone in your hand? NO. Can you see them when the phone is lying face up on a table? NO. You can only see them when it is lying face down. What purpose does that serve?
Take away the flashy lights and you are left with just a mediocre mid range phone.
Value: The NP1 phone is selling at around £330 now in the UK because they are not shifting. The Pixel 7a in comparison is selling at £280 from one of the main suppliers.

I see where you are going. I my self own 2 Pocos. F3 and X5 pro and brightens is adjusting auto on all 3 phones. And i like to tell you when nothing adjust brightness after environment it is more correct then poco. But maybe you have your brightness on full without auto correction. Anyway to talk shit about the phone because of this is wrong, you misleading people who wont to get it. I have this one as my main phone and i tell you compare to 2 others Pocos i have this is the beast and i love it. Only Poco F3 beats it in speed but it´s all.

The 963-nit top brightness in Auto mode that we've tested in our normal review puts it around what you'd expect from a midranger these days, and it's notably brighter than last year's Poco F4 GT, for example, which is great to see (excuse the pun). It also towers above the fan-favorite Nothing Phone (1), for what it's worth, with about a third more brightness. While not mind-blowing, it will definitely do the job in day-to-day life.

The Poco F5, which I now own has a screen brightness that can be set to 1000 nits maximum and that suits me. I found the NP1 brightness, at 700 nits, was not acceptable so I changed it for something I did like. It is as simple as that.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2023For how long did you own this phoneI held onto it for about 6 months hoping that OS 2 would bring an update to the screen brightness but that didn't happen. The phone is capable of supporting up to 1000 nits but Nothing capped it at 700 nits just to make the battery appear longer lasting than it does. The result is whites appearing off-white which wasn't to my liking so I sold it for something better.

I have been using this phone for 8 months now, It's great, excellent processor, excellent battery, only one issue, is the Nothing OS, some apps are crashing or getting ANRs, while same apps on my other android are fine. IDK if Nothing OS is better on Nothing 2.

Such an amazing phone. Top-notch experience in software and build quality. After all the latest updates you get over 7hrs of SOT on moderate usage which is excellent for this size of battery. Cameras are excellent in most conditions. Only the front cam needs some more work in low-light conditions.
