When OnePlus came it sounded kindergarten-ish but it became a brand because of their product quality, performance all at an attractive price point. Now OnePlus lost everything they known for after Oppo takeover. Similarly "Nothing Phone One" becoming a brand or not depends on what they deliver.

No thanks. I can't get excited about a gimmick phone with such a nothing name. Meaningless, unattractive, just a dumb sales ploy. It would have to be extremely special to overcome my initial dislike of the affected name.

Audio jack technology since 1867 got evolved severakl times until it came to the point where it cant be improved any further.
All audiojack technology lies in the quality of earphones.
For example Senheiser or Bose earplugs or earphones will sound equaly good whether you use Nokia 105, xiaomi 9A or S22 ultra or Sony Xperia Pro-1.
In case of wireless audio we cant say Bose ro Senheiser earplugs or earphones you cant say you hear same music because the bluetooth quality is different on a low cost device and a high cost device but jack is jack is same thing regardless of the price or brand of the phone.
And wireless audio is better and is step to the future.
Wireless audio still can be improved and evolved and every year is getting better and better but jack is same thing since it was first time used on a cell phone.
They added few more rings from one to three but thats it.

Glad the jack is slowly going to history books and will remains there. It served well since late mid 19th centaury but his service is not needed anymore. It deserves RIP and a permanent retirement.

usb c couldnt help replacing the audio jack because it isnt universal. it sometimes doesnt work in different brands.
thinking of buying a xiaomi usb c headset but you have a samsung.
