I ordered it yesterday on my lunch break at work. I'd like to think it'll be waiting for me when I get home today, bit I doubt it. Slim chance it'll be there tomorrow morning, failing that, looks like tuesday.

Just checked the O2 site. My new bill is there, along with number etc. My X3 was apparantly dispatched with the courier at 6am this morning.

Spot on, they're cheap, but customer service is non existant.
Which means they are a great company right up until the point something goes wrong! Like this............

ive been told i have to ring up the O2 shop tommorrow to see if they have had a delivery! I think this is a complete shambles! Ive been with t-mobile for 5 years and had enough of them robbing me with their crap tariffs so i thought id go with O2 as they offer more text messages for less money. But O2 cant even get a simple order right! All they have to do is send some phones to various shops around the country. But they cant manage that!

I think you hit the nail onthe head.
They have underestimated the popularity of this phone and are playing for time cause their systems have gone up the spout, they probably don't have enough phones in, and can't deliver them!

What are O2 playing at? I ordered it with them last night gave them all my details including my car number. I was told that their systems have crashed and they will send me a confirmation order number by email. Still have not received this, phoned O2 and they stated that their systems will be up and running by this afternoon (I doubt that very much!) does any one else think that maybe O2 are just playing for time again here??

Ive just rang my local O2 shop and they say it MIGHT be in stock saturday (tomorrow) so i dont no wether to get it online or not can n e 1 help???

Yeah, I have three order numbers from them.
But it's possible for you to have an order number and not to have a phone on it's way..............
Ask O2 customer services to check it has been ordered, either on the phone, (if you can afford it) or via the e-mail, (if you can wait that long!)

i got a o2 order number from o2 and i try to put it in the trackin place-y and it hasnt worked also they havent taken money off me yet and i havent got a confirmation email. it makes me wonder if the order even worked.....

O2 claim they CAN NOT deliver next day, no matter what it says on the website.
They are having real problems gettin ght phones out of the warehouse and Securicor can not guarentee delivery next day.
You should not be charged a premium for the delivery service, (it should be refunded automatically,) if it isn't O2 customer service will re-imburse your costs.
I ordered mine on Weds and it won't arrive till Tues next week at the earliest.
(Also O2's order system has been down this week, so orders are being done by hand......... oooops!)
