o2 should release the x3 as soon as possible, because it seems to be one of the best phones and at a very reasonable price. They could make loadsa money out of it if only they would release it soon!

The rumour department, (otherwise known as O2,) now states the 23rd of this month.

kayleighapaul@hotmail.com - guess you have not been following this from thre start - the dates given by O2 are not accurate like others on here, I have sent several emails to O2 and their CS dept in India is next to useless, they keep changing the date in everyone
As for your order from Dphones - they were wrong to quote a lead time of 2-5 days since O2 have not released the phone to their own online shop let alone to other third parties, If your not happy with them seek a refund on the grounds that it was ordered in good faith after they said 2-5 days, which was wrong (as they have no release date) the date O2 seem to say for online shop is 23/8/04 though given all the date changes, this will also probably change, if it does it will prob be end of month - just keep looking at O2 Site and here

That's cause you got done!
I told you that they didn't have them in stock! And they will not get them until the same time as O2. (And that came direct from them......... so you really did get done!)

Nothing is definate.
I have 10 e-=mails from them, with 4 different release dates on, all of which have been wrong.
Until it's in the shops I wouldn't hold your breath.
As for price, between 180 and 200GBP depending on where you go.

Just had confirmation from o2 that o2 are releasing the phone on the 23rd wether they will get it to all shops on that date is another matter completely!

Guys, I suggest you don't hold your breath on this phone. O2 have got some serious problems with it, go buy an S65 or an S700 when it comes out.

23rd? i went in to an o2 shop on saturday and they told me its been held back and it could be sept now.

DIRECTPREPAYMOBILEPHONES or whatever they are called. DO NOT have the X3 to sell. I have contacted them and you can PRE-ORDER only. NO delivery date can be given!
So don't waste your time! O2 will have the phone before other suppliers!

Grattan's, Kays, Argos, Drirectprepayphones etc will NOT have the phone until O2 release it no matter what they say or what you think.
