Yet another person asking about how to put MP3'S onto there mobile. If you scrolled down the page you'd find a nice thread about what to do but i'll give you the simple answer.
YOU NEED A CARD READER!
http://www.mobymemory.com/prod...USB2%5F23in1
i recommend this one to everybody because its cheap and very good and easy to use. Buy this put your 32mb card into the slot and copy mp3s over to your phone. If you want to use your phone as an MP3 player then buy a bigger card. Look on ebay for that they go cheap i recently bought a 512mb card for only 22 quid.

Thanks for that Paul.
Liam, I'm not sad like some people where I must have my phone on 24/7. I put it off at work, cinema etc and having that gayass sound playing everytime it goes on and off is nuts.

you can turn both the startup/shutdown and camera sound off. in the settings menu goto number 9, power on/off sound and set that to off. when in camera mode press options and select "sound off".

Has to be said thats a pretty daft thing to say. If you have your phone on silent why would you be switching it off during silent mode anyway youve obviosly got it on for a reason? Also if you've got your phone on silent you obviosly trying to keep it so that knowone knows you've got your phone on, so why would you want to get your camera out and take pictures??
But to answer your question, just edit the profiles. press 'up' and then scroll to silent and click edit you can probably do somthing with it in there.

Hi can someone tell me how to put it on proper silent?? When you press and hold the right "dot" button it goes on to silent profile, but the phone still makes the switch on/off sound and the camera sound!! Surely that isn't SILENT!
Thanks peeps.

Kat the 'N' icon stands for notification, it means you have received a media message and have not viewed it. If you go to meesages then media and option 5 for notifications.

Recently swapped to an o2 x3. Cannot seem to download MP3 to the phone? Went and bought a 64mb card, but cant put anything on it. In the book it says about .mp3, but on the handset mgr it mentions about 120kb as a .mid? I thought it was suposed to be an mp3 player. Pulling my hair out. Has anyone got any help for me. I see alot about a card reader...why would i want one of these? surely i can just tx/rx between the computer and the phone using the cable!

You card reader problem buy this one
http://www.mobymemory.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Reader%5FUSB2%5F23in1
i've bought it and i've also referd a few other people on here to buy this one aswell. Its perfect for you and its cheap.
As for a review of this phone. As you can see the ratings are very high. This phone is great though i'd deffinatly recommend buying it. Everything on it is great, the camera can let you down at times but you'll get over that i'm sure. Mp3 player is great my fave thing on the phone infact. Very good phone and for a great price of £100. If you get the phone though and you want to use it as a MP3 player buy a new MINI-SD card you can pick these up on ebay very cheaply around 20-25 quid, also with this buy the card reader which is the link i've just given. Then your all sorted with your phone.

The 'N' sign will not be a fault it could be somthing to do with the signal. I'd doubt its anything to worry about though if it doens't go your probably just going to have to live with it.
As for putting MP3's on the phone if you do a search you'll find about 100 posts explaning how to put MP3's onto your phone. I'll give you the first bit of help you'll need and probably the only bit of help you'll need which is to 'Buy a Card reader' www.mobimemory.com or sumthing supply them cheaply.
