setup for MMS if you are pay as you go ?
Make sure your mobile is set up to use Media Messaging. Pay monthly customers can do this by contacting their Service Provider (the number will be on your bill). You can also download the appropriate Media Messaging settings for your phone in the form of a text message.Pay & Go customers can text PICON to 21400. This text costs the standard rate to send. Then follow the instructions on the reply message. You will be asked to activate your new settings by selecting the letter that corresponds to the make of your handset and texting that to 2020, for example, Nokia is the letter A so text A to 2020. Then make sure these settings are in the phone :
O2 X3 GPRS WAP settings
1. Press OK to enter Menu.
2. Scroll to O2 and press OK
3. Scroll to Settings and select Profile 4. Press OK on Home Page and enter http://wap.o2.co.uk 5. Scroll down to Gateway Address and enter 193.113.200.195 6. Scroll down to Port Number and enter 9201 7. Press Back (Right Soft Key) 8. Scroll down to Connect Settings and highlight a GPRS profile 9. Press Option (Left Soft Key) and then Rename. Enter O2 WAP.
10. Press OK and then OK to select profile 11. Press OK on User ID and enter payandgo 12. Scroll to Password and enter password 13. Scroll to APN Name and enter payandgo.o2.co.uk 14. Ignore DNS 15. Scroll to Select Gateway and select O2 WAP for WAP and O2 WAP for Media
Please also find the O2 X3 MMS settings
1. Press OK to enter Menu
2. Scroll to Messages and press OK
3. Scroll to Media and press Select
4. Scroll down to Settings (8) and press Select 5. Press Select on Media Server and highlight a profile 6. Press Edit (Left Soft Key) and enter Server Name as O2 MMS 7. Press Edit and enter Server Address as http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk :8002 (: is on 1 key) 8. Press Select to choose profile 9. Scroll to Notify Setting and set to Auto Download 10. Scroll to Delivery Setting and select Delivery Report and Read Report 11. Scroll to Message Life Time and select 6 days 12. Scroll to Security Check and select Close Check 13. Scroll to Sender Reject and make sure all blank
You will now be able to use GPRS and MMS.

Hiya got me o2 x3 few days ago and i love it! What a phone, the video and camera r v. good quality, only negative is that u have to buy a card reader cus the buggers at o2 wnt to rip us off. Besides that highly recommended!

HELP!! i've just got this phone from someone so it had been used, and it wont let me connect to the internet it just keeps saying Network unavailable, also it wont let me recieve picture messages, when i go to the o2 site for help it hasnt got this phone listed!! Any phone genius out there care to help???? please!!!! Other than this i think the phone is great x

hello, this phone in my opinion isn't all its cracked up to be, I mean 2 month after i got my phone the pictures wouldn't send, then when i got da phone phone back it sent the messages twice. The only good thing about it is the mp3 player!!!!

I love this phone, but can anyone out there explain how I set up the MP3 player, in language I can understand! Staff in O2 shop are not very informed!

Just bought daughter one she loves it !!!
Just my two penneth on the MP3 !
We had to put the card in the phone checked that the phone was using the card not the phone memory then set the phone to use its memory not the card ! we then took the card out and connected it to the comp through my reader. The phone had put four folders in it Pics / Java / Music / Video. we put her mp3s in the music folder and a couple of java games in the java folder. When we put the card in the phone and went to the meadia player we used the add playlist to register the mp3's and all was perfect. The java games were in the games menu all we had to do was use options install she is now playing music and games !!! :-)

how to get mp3's on to my phone, ive got the connection port that i need and i have set the program up on my computor, but still cant get any mp3 files on to it.

Am I the only one who has not a single complaint about this phone? I love it. Every feature works well for me. I have been abroad for the last 2 weeks and it never let me down. Good camera, video, mp3 player, texting ok, reception good, it's never switched itself off, reasonable battery life, I could go on.... but... hey I might be tempting fate here.. lets hope not or I'll be back to let you know LOL!!

Hello Im thinkin about getting this phone and you've probably heard this a million times, but how long can you record video for? Cus ive tried to find out and some people say 4 mins, unlimited its so confusing?! Please help

Just my 2 cents about the keypad, it is a little slower to respond than a nokia I find, this is especially noticable when texting, if you type quickly...

Keypad easy to use just the same as my nokia really just as easy and thier easy to use. And yes thier is a recorder init and its very good, gonna be great to record gigs that i go to :D.

In my opinion the phone is good all round but ive hit a problem, my phone crashed and now it wont turn back on!? Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix it? or will i have to take it to be repaired?

Hello i just brought the 02 X3 and it is brilliant!!!! the only thing is i dont understand the MP3 player. im getting myself so worked up about it. Its annoying!!! lol it says .MIDI is only allowed to be downloaded for music? i am very confused!!! so if anyone could help please email me. im only 15 so be nice lol.
