"on the screen it says in writing my number how do you get rid of the writing?"
From the main menu select "Contacts" then "Memory" then "Own Number" now press edit and then change or erase your name/number.

anyone know if there is a crack for the handset manager so you can upload mp3's via the data cable instead of having to buy a card reader?
Cheers

put the miniSD card in the adapter, put the adapter in the reader, put the reader in your PC, write files to miniSD card (make sure you put music in music folder, pics in picture folder etc), then put miniSD card back in phone

I bought an O2 X3 handset from o2 online and after a month it broke and I had to get it repaired which was a nuisance. it would switch off and freeze and not switch back on again. Then I got it back and after 3 days it happened again. I put it back in for repair and then again the same thing happend. This happened 4 times before I finally got a replacement phone, I wouldnt recommend anyone get this handset its utter crap!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend then bought that phone and the same thing happened.

Is anyone else having problems storing more than around 5 tracks to the MP3 player? Does anyone know where I can get a larger memory SD?
I dont think the camera or the video are particularly good, i've seen phones with a much lower spec do a far better job! Maybe I'm doing it wrong, any advice?

Howy: are you putting music files in the music folder on the sd card? Thats where they need to be, also they need to be the correct format (mp3)

Yea thats what I thought, it plays in the order of being written...
Matty: Maybe it means the network is down :)
It could be that your settings are wrong...

Well what i did to get around the mp3 problem, was to copy all of the mp3 files onto the sd card individually, one after another in the order i wanted them... i thought that maybe when its copying large numbers of files at the same time it might not actually copy them in order you select them in... so by doing it individually, they can't be copied onto the card in any other order! (if you get what i mean)
well anyways, it worked for me! try it, and give feedback!

Mate, I have no idea in which the phone sorts the files. What I did was to copy each album individually, then the next, then the next, and a load of unrelated mp3's at the end, and it sorted them out...?
Maybe its date modified order?
