I have been given O2 X3 phone by my daughter unfortunately she does not have cd for usb drivers so I cant download photos from phone to pc, do you know where i can get copy of driver i need, i tried one from benk 700 web site but wont seem to work on my phone?
any help appreciated thanks

I got an o2x3 on contract a year ago and can honestly say it is the worse phone i have ever had constantly switching itself off and then as your entering pincodes it does it again.this started after about 6 months.I read these views before buying it and thought it wouldnt happen to me! stupid or what. dont get it 4 friends have all got this phone 1 of them without any problems!20%isnt bad is it? any way contract over in 2 weeks yippee

Well, I finally got a result. After my replacement phone crashed I went back into the O2 shop and told them I wasn't prepared to get my X3 repaired again. It has been replaced with a Samsung E720!

this phone is a waste of money and time i hav taken it back 2 da shop 4 times, the screen crashes and some times the wallpaper dissappears the phone has a mind of its own.to get mp3 on it u hav 2 buy SanDisk so the mini sd can go in and thats goes in2 ur usb. the sandisk cost about £20 frm o2 shops.hope i help ur question for any1 that needed 2 no.

same problem as everyone else.. can't send pictures. already had my X3 software upgraded cos of the same problem.
Anyone got any ideas??
And yes they do wipe off all your info when they upgrade the software!

i think that the o2x3 is a waste of money. The buttons are peeling. The silver colour scrathches off. You can't change the message tone and have to have a doorbell. Which is a bugger if you miss it. And you have to pay a fortune just to get Mp3's on it. If you want my advice. Luk elswhere

Have to say ,I`ve never had an ounce of trouble with my X3,i see a lot of people have
though.
Guess if i had read this before buying the phone i would`nt have bought it, but i have no regrets at all.
Could do with bluetooth and infared send, but otherwise sound.
I had/have a 512mb card in mine, which stored tons of music,which was main additional feature that i wanted ,i`ve just got the nokia 6230i (contract"upgade")
which was highly recommended by my mates but apart from the BT & iR the phones not that far behind cosidering the difference in price (2nd hand)
btw the nokia is very slow to load up images from the folder even with the small 32mb card you get with it!!! if you like your music...£40 phone & £20 card on ebay this IS the phone, playback is cracking.
Sorry to all you guys who probably dont agree but i speak only the truth about the X3 and dont care who makes it.

Gr8 to read reviews and tips, had my fone 4 and all works xcept outgoin mms. had fone 4 over a yr now so think its bout time i sorted prob! Can any1 tell me if all info in phone is wiped during software upgrade?

i think everyone on O2 is having that problem currently as i'm unable to send picture messages anymore with this phone and also my sistercan't the the newer XM and a few other people don't seem to be able to and we're all getting that message, so i dunno what the problem is.

Nice phone , Can't send PICTURE MESSAGES : when i try to send picture messages it says handled by server > media message . can anyone please help me ?
i could send pictures a few weeks ago but now nothing ......
I'VE BEEN TO O2 SHOP AND THEY SAID TRY THESE SETTING BUT I ALREADY HAD THOSE SETTING .

Hi, yes i deffinatly recommend this phone for a teenager deffinatly, i've been using the phone for a year and still nothing wrong with it so there is proof that this phone isn't always bad :D lol dispite some of the reviews. The MP3 player is very very good, Pictures are ok not the best but its a phone what do you expect the menus look great and an amazing display great phone. Although i'd also recommend the O2XM thats 2 steps up from this phone, the only difference being that that phone only records video for 9 seconds and the X3 is unlimited. Hope this helped.

right i have not got a reader i gto the 02x3 phone adapter and mini sd carde but i dunt no how to put mp3s on it please can u mail me and do it in step by step instuctions expescially wot programs i should do it on thanx xxxx lol

I have the pleasure of having two of these mobiles one was mine, the others was my sis.
Now mine still works but it's crap:
Problems to date -
Often freezes / locks up when playing games
I brought 3 games for it through the wap site when I was on holiday, Splinter Cell PT, Rayman 3 and Worms.
Splinter Cell and Worms get as far as the 'new game' screen before locking up , Rayman 3 works when it wants to though - and remember these games were brought from the 02 wap site - meaning they're supposed to work on this piece of crap.
The infra-red option doesn't work on either of the mobiles.
And also the light under the button 7 has broke.
On my sis's mobile :
Her's is totally useless
It won't charge
When it worked it would randomly start charging even if it wasn't connected to the charger - wtf!
Virbration got stuck on regularly
Now it won't even turn on : you plug in the charger, press the on button and it freezes and the screen just shows a black line - It still displays the 02 logo / charger display and makes that charging noise but it wont do anything else.
Also adding to the insult of the mobile, there is no way to silence the phone - when the 'silence' option is selected it vibrates by default.
And to get mp3 files onto the mobile you need to buy an adapter for your computer.
Shite mobile / utterly useless - If you have sense you'll avoid.
And the fact you can are limited on your wap downloads to the pathetic inner memory is a really pain and makes the memory card virtually useless.
The only good thing this mobile gave me was free 24 / 7 wap access which I used while abroad for a month! So I probably spend well over the price of the phone on wap access.

i bought this phone a while ago and have found ot be the best i have ever had, its got a fantastic MP3 player, 1.3 mp cam/recorder, loads of great features. highly recomended

lydz your gonna have to take the phone into o2 and then will send away for repair although it wont work much better when it comes back my old x3 was sent back for the same reason and i thimk they just updated the software. when it came back the camera seemed to worse than when it went in and then things just got worse week by week.
